Slowly Progressing on the Road

Well damn, it sure has taken a while but I have to say I am growing more comfortable when we play on the road. I know at 7-19 is nothing, let me reiterate...nothing to think well of, but we have shown progress in maintaining momentum away from Charlotte.

I'm just saying, they're slowly getting better. Maybe by the end of the year we will be good enough to win a road playoff game. :) Cheers to optimism.

Like you said, 7-19 is nothing to get excited about, and acknowleding that any road win is a good win, the four teams you've beaten recently on the road are Phoenix, Golden State, Sacramento, and Minnesota. Phoenix is the only playoff-caliber team (currently 6th in the West), and the other three are the three worst teams in the West. Playing the Lakers tough on the road and limiting Kobe was a more encoruaging outing than any of these four wins in my opinion. Cleveland and Miami are the only road wins against the East. Good wins against good teams. You've still got road games at Atlanta, Orlando, Boston, Miami, and Chicago. I'd want to see at least two wins out of those five road games. Then I might start to think that the Bobcats have a shot at getting out of the first round.

i think we'll be dangerous in the playoffs...the only matchup i really fear is cleveland..aka lets at least stay out of 8th.

Really? I think we match up well against Cleveland. I would hate to face the Magic with Howard.

Cleveland, I don't think will make it past the Conference Finals. They are going to need someone else to step up on a consistent basis besides LeBron. To be honest either way I think we're done in the 1st round but I think it would be a close series with the Cavs compared to a team like the Magic.

Playing the Lakers tough on the road and limiting Kobe was a more encoruaging outing than any of these four wins in my opinion.

Yes, couldn't agree with you more. It was even without Wallace, right? It was a shame we couldn't pull it out though. But like you said that was more convincing than say last night where we barley pulled one out in Minny, a game we just couldn't put away.

But then the Bobcats lose to Star-less Portland and New Orleans.

Larry couldn't have said it better himself, "loses like these tell you what kind of team you have, and that's a team that's not quite up to the task yet"

Were getting good, but not quite there yet.
