Trade rumor: Peppers for Umenyiora

I doubt it would ever happen, but I'd take the trade straight up. People that are saying picks or even other players need to be added are delusional.

At this point, we'll be lucky to get anything out of Pep if he leaves, so we need to take whatever we can get.

Plus, Osi doesn't have the same presence as Peppers. The better player on the field is Peppers.

However, I'd take that any day of the week rather than letting Peppers walk for nothing.

Agreed...It would be better to get ANYTHING for Peppers rather than nothing from him. Osi isn't washed up...players have bad seasons and he fell into a situation where the DC didn't favor him. He's still one of the best and I'd take him and a 50% cut in pay over keeping Peppers

What I would consider is a trade for Vince Woolfork for Julius Peppers. Obviously this all depends on if the Panthers tag Peppers and Patriots tag Woolfork.

With Woolfork and the DT on our roster and Johnson and Brown on the outside. We wouldn't miss Peppers one bit.

I don't know what Pep expects from the organization. Last year they put their best foot forward and showed him that it wasn't about the money. They liked him enough to franchise him and pay him 16mill. Given the teams moves in the past what makes him think he isn't wanted here?

I think his agents strategy is stupid and is forcing the teams hand in this situation that wasn't a situation to begin with. People don't do the things the Panthers have done for Julius if they didn't want him. Why extend my hand only for you to spit in my palm and do so publicly again? He needs to fire this agent and stop the nonsense.

giants need peppers for osi!!! im not sure cause osi didnt start 6 games cause idiotic bill sheridan so i dont know if osi coulda had more sacks then peppers and better pressure i use him in madden 10 so much better and faster then kiwi mathis
