Not hearing anything about such a trade in this area...although I would be open to it. Osi is definitely not happy.

It would be interesting to see how Pep would fare with the fans here....

Weren't Umenyiora and Coughlin not seeing eye to eye at the end of the season to the point Ume's playing time was cut?

To answer Fiz's question, don't know about Hamilton's source, he's pretty well connected but who knows. He mentioned the rumor during an update.

Hmmm.. interesting.

Peppers to a team out of our division(are we even playing NFC East next year?), that ridiculous contract out of our hands.. for a talented player who would probably thrive in our defense, and will be cheaper.. I'd take that deal if there was no way we could keep Peppers.

I want to do everything we possibly can to keep him as he makes our entire defense better, while he may not be racking up 15 sacks, he's certainly creating pressure every play which forces bad throws and easy picks for our secondary. But if he HAD to go, this would be the ideal situation for me. Draft picks are overrated, I'd rather get a proven player such as Osi than a 1st round pick that will cost just as much AND it'll be an unproven player.

There you go. It would be nice though if we could get a Draft pick beside getting Osi if we were to send Pep to the Giants.
