It wasn't just women and their families. I know in the major meltdown thread, when Zod defended me, that he threatened him and his family as well. I know anytime Zod stepped in on one of his tirades to diffuse the situation or warn him to calm down, he would go off threatening Zod. Not cool.

That's how it initially started with me too - I came in to defend you.......

Why not go there? Its a legitimate question. If he was threatening you and your family's life you should've called the cops. I would have. Im not wanting to remember him for either good or bad right now. Im just asking questions after this has just been put out in the open. I just said it was a pussy move to make those threats. So did you call the cops?

Going to the police isn't a guaranteed fix. It could indeed make things worse depending on what they do and how the guy reacts. So for the ladies here trying to do the best thing to protect themselves and their families, I don't think you want to second guess them. After all, they're the victims.

I understand where you're coming from on this. As a guy, when you see injustice against a woman you want it fixed. That's good and noble, but in reality, it's a tough call for the people involved because there's no guarantee of what will happen.

Never glad someone took their own life (especially in the standoff manner that he did). He left behind children and family (and his parents had already lost a son a few years ago so I feel for them). But maybe some of them knew how troubled he was and hope he's at peace now.

I didn't necessarily hate him - more fearful of him.

I hope without fear of his outbursts, the huddle can get back to being more fun again and get some people back on here.

Asking two women why they didn't call the cops when this man showed a history of instability and threatened them AND their families is pretty judgmental in my eyes.

Sounds like you are setting up for exactly that, a judgment on whether you believe their stories to be credible. Perhaps I am reading into what you wrote but please watch your tone. I have been civil.

If I had known his last name and found out what I've found since I learned it, I would have definitely filed a police report. However, at the time (about two years ago - I need to go find the receipt for this couch - lol), I did let Zod and other mods know and gave them the transcript as well as several of my friends on here "just in case".

My choice was to fall off the face of the earth as far as he was concerned. I haven't seen, heard, or talked to him in well over a year. I remained out of sight, out of mind
