What do we do now with the season finally over? I'm thinking about taking up knitting to pass the time on Sunday afternoons. In this economy think of the money I'll be saving by not ordering 100 wings every Sunday in preparation for the games.

I'm thinking MCCC, followed by Ranger School, and hopefully getting back in time for the last 3/4 of the season without having to do a train up for an all expense vacation to Afghanistan. But that's just me.

Get some action, go to the movies, "borrow" stuff off the internet, watch other sports, keep refining my cooking skills, & last but not least find some decent work.

On second thought I am going to take my tax refund, buy a new flat screen, an xbox 360, and madden 10 and spend the next 6 months simulating through the franchise mode and pretending to be the owner and g.m. That way at least in my mind I know the team is in good hands. Lets see if I can beat my record of 8 consecutive super bowls.

Come on down to Ft Benning. It's lovely this time of year. If it ain't raining, we ain't training. I saw some Basic Trainees at the M4 range today, getting soaked and throwing some rounds downrange. Good times.

Seriously though, it's a good job and very rewarding. Just listen to your NCOs and everything will be fine.
