Just ordered it.

Dual quad core xeon, 8 gigs RAM.

Much better than what we have now. Will be transitioning the site over the next week or two.

I've noticed at around what, maybe 1250 viewing, the server slows down quite a lot. What's the bottleneck? I hope there is plenty of bandwidth or those processors might not do much.

Didn't know so much RAM was needed for web and database servers. :confused:

Current bottleneck is not bandwidth, its processing. Going from 2 to 8 cores should help a great deal.

since you are doing this how will this effect the huddle? or there some big changes going to happen and if so what will they be?
