Pep No longer wants long term Deal

So you think hiring Meeks completely changed Peps mind? Ok, so what about leaving NC for a while. He has been there his whole life. Oh wait, that is not the same this year. Meeks brought a whole new life to NC...

I said before the whole debacle played out last year that Trgo was a big issue with Pep... I said that you should look for Trgo to go... he did...

The Meeks hiring didn't change Pep's mind... The way the defense came together under Meeks' system and style, along with Pep's relationship with Brian Baker, is what changed Pep's mind on that front... He even said that in so many words in the interview...

As far as "leaving NC for a while" I don't know what you're talking about... That has never been a driving force in Pep's wanting to play elsewhere, and he's perfectly content staying here...

It's like he basically said, he can go anywhere he wants in his free time... He's a multimillionaire with ties to guys all over the country, and frequently does travel all over to keep up with old teammates, and just to get away and be himself... Who doesn't just get away from time to time?... Who of you wouldn't do the same as Pep if you could afford it?

Home is where the heart is, and Pep's heart is and has always been in NC...

So where are you getting your information from? You dont remember him saying last year that he has been in NC his whole life and wants to go somewhere else? I do, if you dont I guess I will google a link for you. My point is no one really knows the "behind the scenes" details. There are two types of people. People that think he is leaving and people that think he is staying. It is all speculation right now. We dont not know what the real deal is.

my crystal ball...

Those statements were posturing, and probably because, in his awkward public speaking nervousness, Pep didn't know what else to say...

I'm pretty sure Pep will be a Panther for the rest of his career... I don't know it to be a fact, because it is a business, but I am almost 100% positive that, in the end, that is what will happen...

We'll know more in a couple weeks I guess... Until then, the speculation (mostly driven by the media, and then brought here by folks jumping at the chance to see Pep leave) will likely continue...

I think if you have to interpret something someone says, it means that you really have no clue whats going to happen. No one does. And until he says he wants to leave. And does not want to sign long term (which he has not said). I still say he will sign. I think people are getting way too excited. way too early

What do you guys think is going to generate more hits on an ESPN/PFT type website? An article stating that the biggest possible free agent to hit the market re-signed with his same small market, no national fan base team, or that no deal can be reached with Carolina, thus leaving the door open to maybe end up in Dallas or NE or Green Bay?It's funny that they completely misinterpreted an entire interview, then charge you whatever for ESPN Insider to read the "rumors" of where he may end up. Take these national garbage rags with a grain of salt guys. Don't be sheep.

lol@you all and your panties in wads...

you all make way to many judgments on a person's character, especially a person you have never met or talked to... this is what is wrong with America. Next time you go on a rant about society, remember you are that guy.
