Hopefully they can keep Thomas around at a league minimum, and get him in a solid rotation. I think Tyler and Louis will be much, much better then people are assuming. Both had a good impact while they were here. The problem is Louis was here for 3 quarters and then Tyler went down after a few games. Hayden needs to get gone period.

Kemo is done here. He is getting a ton of money next year and just came off an injury that happened essentially because his achilles couldn't handle his massive frame. Now his achilles is even weaker and his frame is probably even larger. He is an injury waiting to happen. If we pay him to keep him I'll be pissed when there are other big NTs out there to sign.

Kemo's option is huge but if the Panthers don't pick it up (which they won't) we can have him in 2010 for less than 1 million, something like 760k. Go bring up Kemo's contract if you want (I don't feel like it :D). Not sure of the exact number but it's dirt cheap. If he has recovered and can play well enough to fill out a roster spot he'll be back.

Well kemo was 368 at the time of his injury.I think he will be down to around 340 when the season starts

It will be interesting to see how much money Richardson is going to try and save by cost cutting. If we let Pepper's walk and don't pick up Kemo's option we will have trimmed almost 30 million from the budget.

I saw in December where the wound around the repaired tendon had not healed and would take another procedure like a skin graft. It sounds as if he still has issues so we might release him before the option is due in March.

I can't remember, but isn't there a big rule about releasing injured players, and not being able to do so without their permission/acceptance/payoff.

You can't release a player who was on the active roster without an injury settlement or paying his salary for that year. But it doesn't apply for 2010. If we release him now we can do so and without a cap don't have to worry about the cap consequences.

I've been saying for a loooooooooong time I would be comfterable with kemo gone. We can get rid of a ton of dead weight because there is no penalty.

Kemo is very one demsional, so is lewis. But kemo is one demsional in the bad way because he doesn't fit here anymore. I like thomas a lot better if we keep a NT. But really we should get the DT's that fit. And draft a guy that can play 3 downs.
