Dave Matthews Band would be the best choice, IMO. They reach a pretty huge audience both old and young. After them, I'd love to see Coldplay. Enough of these old geezers.

I agree that they would be a good fit but I am not so sure the NFL/Networks would view them as "safe" enough. They have defintely had their moments of very odd behavior (mostly drug fueled) over the years and keep in mind Flea prefers to play naked.

With that being said.....I could see NFL asking Bon Jovi as someone mentioned earlier. They have done some other halftime shows before also. May be a conflict of interest of sorts though since Jon Bon Jovi has been trying to purchase an NFL team for some time now.
