I would be shocked if he says anything on the lines of him wanting to stay. We dont have all the info on this but Im sure there is a reason that the Panthers have not talked to Peppers and its prob cause of Carey. He screwed up last year so I would imagine he said something mid season or later that turned the Panthers off of Peppers.

I listened last week when they said they were working on getting Peppers on there and, to answer the question, it sounded like this was Carl Carey's idea.

If Carey's there too, it'll be interesting...

Pep will speak for himself though... and won't regurgitate any lines fed to him...

Honestly, I think it'll just be a lot of posturing, and him letting the team know he wants to talk... They'll probably talk about the broken hand a bit, and other things that happened during the season...

FWIW, one can go back and watch during the season (especially towards the end of the year) and see how vocal and excited Pep was on the sidelines when anyone made a big play... His teammates love having him there and know how good he is... Pep, in my belief, will be back long-term when all is said and done... There are just too many outstanding questions league-wise and time wise for Pep not to want to sign long-term...

I definately noticed that also... I was suprised how animated and vocal Pep was. The question I have is how much did that do with the fact the season was winding down and Pep being aware of the contract situation etc.

I am still of the mindset the Panthers need to move on, but in a way they can get something for him. The best case scenario in my mind is they work out a long term deal then trade him  . Second best is they tag him, he signs the tender then they trade him.

MAC ATTACK - I stopped listening to those idiots a while back. Could you honestly find a worst morning talk show?

-Cue- John Fox impressionist, followed by Mac's hiccuping laugh...

Listen live, no thanks....I will listen to the podcast once its up, probably Weds.
