Sad News about a Fellow Huddler

part that really bothers me...aside from the horses...I am having a really hard time understanding that...Clifton loved those horses and I can't seem to piece together why they were ignored...but anyway...I find it really strange how he wouldn't ask anyone for help...he's been here long enough and knows some of us well enough that he should have known that he could have. All joking aside, I told him I was here for him if he needed and I'm telling the rest of you the same thing. Under the circumstances, I think I can understand why he did what he did, I think...but please, don't let things get that far that you think you can't turn to your friends for help. Sometimes, a little shot to your pride can go a long long way.

Well said my friend.

If things are getting too much to handle for anyone....please find someone (a friend, a coworker, a family member, etc) to reach out to. You will be surprised how many people's live you really impact and how much you mean to them.

Don't ever think that you have to go through the bad time alone.

Me too. Seemed like such a good guy on here. I volunteer at the Humane Society and a lady brought an emaciated dog in yesterday....poor thing looked miserable. I just hope there's an explanation.

Just to let you all know I was with Clifton from Friday until Sunday morning and then he kept calling me and talking to me. All he would tell me is that is just wanted to hold me in his arms cause he knew he didnt have much time to live. No one know how I am feeling and to know he want be holding me and telling me he loves me. He called me at work Saturday I know a 100 times to tell me he loves me.

This is truly a horrible thing. My condolences to his family and friends. They will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'll always remember Clifton walking around the nasty tailgate parking lot with no shoes on, in his socks. He said he did it because his feet were hurting. Silly man.

One thing he did that always drove me crazy was when he called he always would pretend to be someone else. He'd disguise his voice and ask me all kinds of silly questions. I'd just laugh until he'd straiten up. He never had any reason to call but he just wanted to know how I was doing and if everything was ok with me, Dan & Stacy. We would swap recipes sometimes, now I'll think of him when ever I cook something of his.

I hate that it had been a while since I talked to him but I'm happy that our last conversation was a good one.

RIP 9 Lives

He is one of the few huddlers I've met. I was hoping to comeback and see this was some sick joke, I'm so sad to see it's actually true.

He seemed like a nice guy and was a HUGE Panther fan. Seriously the guy was passionate. I sat behind him during the Miami game, there are few fans I've met that cared more.

RIP

Alot of people will remember Clifton as an AVID Panthers fan....and he was.

Those of us who knew him well will remember him as the guy that would give the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket to a friend.

Clifton...you will be missed immensely you stupid SOB.

this has really shaken me, even though i didn't know him beyond this forum. sad day indeed :(

Same here. I never met the guy, but we talked a little on the Huddle. I'm really sort of upset about it. Such a sad story for all involved.

There are a lot of you guys and gals who knew him pretty well, it would seem. My thoughts are with all of you.
