Sad News about a Fellow Huddler

Just an FYI for those who care... I went to the wake today before the funeral. I spoke with Clifton's adopted mom and dad, his sisters, his biological parents, Leslie and Susan. I expressed condolences specifically from those who asked me to and the family was very appreciative.

His dad specifically told me that he thought Clifton did this to ease the burden on his family of a long illness, and that he wished he hadn't.

They told me to tell you all thank you for the well wishes. I also saw the flowers that Leslie got with the Panther's colored ribbons and they all said thank you for that gesture.

I did not stay and attend the funeral because honestly I don't do funeral's too well and I accomplished what I wanted to in speaking to his family.

I would like to thank everyone who was thinking of us on this very emotional day. Even if you couldn't be there I know yall present was there. Thanks for all you guys have done even if it wasn't nothing but a prayer. I know how much yall meant to Clifton. Just keep us all in you prayers.

This is my first chance to get back on here since Monday. I've enjoyed reading the stories that others shared. They make me smile, and be grateful that I knew that man, Clifton Jacobson.

As for all the bs, there is a time and place for it, and this isn't it. I have lots of feeilings, and opinions about animal care/neglect, and even suicide, but most people can't see past their nose to begin with, and talk out of thier ass, cause they feel they can use any place as their soap box. I'm done this that subject.

I miss Clifton greatly. He was family to me. I can see, that there are several others who knew him as the person he was. To all of you, our friend will be greatly missed.

I also hope this thread does go away any time soon, as I hope others will come back, and share some other heart warming memories.

Strange story. I used to post a lot more back 2-3 years ago and 9lives was another big poster. Saw a comment about electros death in a recent thread and searched the forums to figure out what had happened. I know I'm late to his as I really just got back too the huddle, but RIP man.
