The NBA is hurting and wants a hard cap and reduction of top players salaries. They might even do some retraction and cut the teams down to 28.

I think the NBA's is easier to work out though, due to the nature of it being on a smaller scale.

I don't. I know all the talk is "If an agreement is not reached by March 3, there will be a lockout based on the current CBA." That is such a load a crap. The CBA is a contract between the League and the NFLPA. A contract does not have to operate under its terms if both sides agree to modify them. That is what I think will happen here.

All the crap going through the media right now is just that. It is crap being used for posturing by both sides. While the owners stand to lose from a year without football, the players, whose average careers are much shorter than an owner's time at the helm, stand to lose just as much, if not more.

The players may stand by this "No cap in '10 = no cap ever" junk. Guess what? While Jerry Jones, Daniel Snyder and Al Davis may be okay with that, the vast majority of owners will not be. The owners really hold all the cards here.
