What was the most important win/painful loss??

Minny loss was the worst as Jake was playing prettygood and we were still outplayed. He kind of sucked in the next two losses and the Giant game while more was riding, was a wind issue away from victory.

Biggest win is between Detroit and Oakland. We should have lost them both and almost did. The fact that they sucked would have looked very bad.

Most important game was San Diego because I believe it set the stage for everyone to actually believe that the Panthers were for real.

Hell, all the losses were equally painful in my opinion for different reasons, and I can't really choose one over the other, but for the sake of answering the question I'll say the Minny game. That was a winnable game, but the team just wasn't all there---from the players to the coaches.

I attribute the loss to Tampa Bay to Murphy's Law: whatever could go wrong, did go wrong (from bounces and bobbles, etc). During the Atlanta game, our defense seemed to run out of steam and just be satisfied to coast for the 4th quarter. The Giants game was disappointing because our defense, uncharacteristically, let someone (Ward---not even an RB1) run all over them with reckless abandon.

I've changed my mind. Perhaps the 4th quarter in the Giants game was the most painful to watch.

Loss- Giants , had the game won and let it slip away with so much riding on it

Win- Bucs , I believe that before this game we didnt really have our swagger and identity, I believe that this game instilled confidence and catapulted us the rest of a must win strech of the season

    • I don't agree with this, he looks jacked to me.  His frame won't allow him to ever be as big as XL, and that's fine.  He will just have a hard time with press, there are ways to deal with that.
    • that type of QB, especially paired with a weaker NFL arm.....excel with quick game weapons though.   it sounds like you are a big Tmac homer.  I mean, if you are watching every snap he played in college.   So, it's safe to say we likely won't see eye to eye on expectations for year 1.   And my expectations on Tmac aren't all in his control.  As I have also said, elsewhere, this is really year 2 for Bryce.  So I expect the first half of the season to carry healthy odds of a year 2 regression (specifically the first half).  Film, tendencies, and weaknesses in Dave's offense are going to be prepared for.    out of curiosity, what cons to Tmac's game where in the scouting stuff you saw?
    • Maybe a weeeee bit exaggerating. I think he will be a great player. But that doesn’t look like someone that was super committed in the weight room during college which is just a little confusing. Maybe he cut some weight to try and run a better 40. We saw Julio come into the league a little skinnier, get bigger/stronger and really start dominating. Strength and size is important as a big physical x receiver. It’s not so important for the Devonta Smith role
