wow...i'm actually surprised at how many of my fellow Panther fans actually LIKE Jeff...i remember last season, and the year b 4 that ...him being BOOOOO'd at the home games...hell I EVEN BOOO'd him. Let my wife tell it....i've been bad mouthin' this guy now for about 4 years. I luv all y'all like play cousins..but i don't life Jeff D...i think if we had ANYBODY else as our OC , they'll utilize the talent better than he does..and be more confident in that talent than he is..so much so that he had 2 bring his a$$ down from the booth and walk the sidelines this season...i promise U ..had this season NOT turned out the way it has...he would've been gone anyway.

They may not want to wait until after the superbowl to even talk to Davidson/

Remember when we talked to Dom Capers? He was a defensive coach with Pitts. at the time and were in the palyoffs or practicing for the super bowl, I forget, and we got in trouble and were penalized with a lost draft pick, I think.

Now there's been no mention of this, but would it suprise you if Mangini doesn't work out that they maybe look at Davidson? He was the interm OC up there in '06 I believe after they fired somebody. Maybe it's too early to be talking about this, but I thought it might end up becoming a possibility.

Mike Martz is available If Davidson is gone :-)

I personally like Davidson and hope he does not go anywhere. Last year was basically a wash considering all the injuries. This year, I think he has done a good job overall. He calls Fox's gameplan which is going to be conservative. DWill, JStew and Smitty have all flourished under him imo.

See, this is why I can't really get on the "fire Fox" bandwagon. I'd like to ring his neck sometimes, but here we are with another round of musical coaches. Most of the coaches that are fired will probably end up somewhere else. I'm not ecstatic about Fox's conservative philosophy, but I think he is better than most of what is out there. But back on point, I would really like to keep Davidson. I don't have any more insight as to what Fox's status is with the co-ordinators than anyone else. But Fox isn't really known to be an offensive genius. I have to believe Fox tells Davidson what he wants, and Davidson draws up plays around that. But whatever it is, it's working this year and if it's not broke, don't fix it.
