Torry Holt will be released by Jaguars

After thinking about it, I don't think we could keep both Holt and Moose on the roster. Smith is untouchable, and Jarrett will be here because of his contract. We will without a doubt draft a reciever, maybe even two. We generally only carry four legitimate receivers, so we could only afford to keep one old guy. In that case, I'd take Moose any day. He's reliable in the passing game, can still catch TD's and is a blocking machine.

Not sure what part of inept stupid organization you didn't understand, and that's fine...to each his own.

poo can a young guy, and get a ancient was good. Beautiful thinking.

Say what you want, but I don't understand you people that think Jarrett has seen the field so much. If he is that dumb, then who is dumber for keeping him around?

Not only that, how much do you expect him to produce until he is given the chance.....and I haven't seen him drop the ball when thrown to very many times at all. Put it all together, and get back at me.

I think the organization has it's problems but we've seen them get get better recievers than Jarrett AND with Delhome throwing to them, so it's definitely not all their fault. If Drew Carter, and Keary Colbert were able to get on the field then I don't see why it's so hard for Jarrett to do it. They were average at best yet somehow they played better under the same stupid inept organization.

I never said we should pick up holt or can Jarrett either. Should we depend on Jarrett to be the #2? It's a big no. I would rather us draft someone early or sign a FA that isn't a stop gap like holt. Jarrett is worth keeping around if we can't find other guys. He's better than a late round pick, probably not better than a FA. Who cares if we cut the young guy, as of right now the young guy sucks. 700 yards a few TDs is more than his entire career.

Jarrett started two games around mid-season i think. Had ok stats. Played in a lot of games didn't show so much. Filled in nice when smith was out. Had that decent game against the saints that every loves so much. Played ok in preseason but nothing spectacular. If he couldn't outplay backups during preseason I don't hold out much hope for him against starters. When we made beason play late in preseason he was a super-scrub, Jarrett doesn't do diddly in preseason.

We kept colbert around for 3 crappy years. Why is Jarrett different? We keep a lot of players around we shouldn't.

Here's the situation from the Jarrett supporters perspective

It's taken 3 years for him to blossom, his 1 good game out of 29 is a sign of things to come. With Matt Moore at the helm he'll be an entirely different player. It's entirely Delhomes fault for his production because he's a terrible QB. He's really a great WR but for some reason the coaches don't play him and give other young WRs chances over him. It's because there incompetent or he's in the dog house for something silly.

Heres the situation from the Jarrett doubters perspective

He's had 3 years of awful seasons. His 1 good game out 29 is too little too late. Whatever standard the coaches have he couldn't pass them and many other mediocre WRs looked better than him. The FO has a horrible track record with WRs whether FA or the draft. Why is Jarrett different?

Here's where the Jarrett supporters have logical reasons to support him.

He has good hands. He makes clutch catches. Matt Moore makes him better. With fox it takes a long time for younger guys to beat out entrenched starters, even where they're better.

Here's where the Jarrett doubters have logical reasons to doubt him

To try and keep this from being the longest post ever, I'll just say Every other aspect of his skillset and career. It should be pretty obvious.

So I feel like it's more logical to doubt him. I want him to succeed as long as he's on the team. I hope I'm wrong about him. He just hasn't shown enough for me to be wildly optimistic. I don't see what's wrong with that.

Ok...let me start again. My only point is this organization needs to make up it's mind what it is going to do one way or the other......period. We have talent we never utilize as we should, but everybody wigs out every cotton picken time there is another player cut loose, or available.

It will not matter who we pick up, keep, or try to get, if we aren't going to utilize each and everyone of them to the max.

Not hard math, but this org can't figure.

Everybody knows they support Jarrett, or doubt him theories, without question.....but can you really say, with all honestly they have kept him this long and that they think he is so dumb he can't do what they drafted him for?

If your answer is yes, then look at the other part of my statements concerning the organization.

Really, really simple. Point where you want, but the blame is somewhere in there....I promise you.
