this, he is the eagles future QB. especially after another failure by McNabb this season. I don't understand what he's done that Matt Moore hasn't besides being a 2nd round pick.

At this point, we need to forget about trading for a QB and use this draft(its VERY deep in wide receivers) to get a legitimate #2/3 receiver or any QB we bring in will struggle.

Well, since Hurney doesn't fall too far from the Beathard tree in regards to his opinion of next year's 1st, I'd guess an '11 1st.

I agree...Mcnabb is nearing the end of his career and Vick is a crapshoot that even Philly would not gamble on.

Kolb has started fewer games than Moore and operates in a WCO. There is no guarantee he would work out in our system or be better than what we already have. So to answer your question, there is no chance Philly trades him and nothing I would give for him.

Nothing at all......it's funny because when McNabb was benched against the Ravens and Kolb came in he did horrible and everyone was talking about how bad he was and the Eagles really needed to look for a future QB when McNabb was done.

Then, McNabb gets hurt (against you guys) and Kolb has time to prepare and comes in for 3 games or so (I forget exactly) and does very well (I think he threw for over 300 yards each game) and now people have him as the next Aaron Rodgers waiting in the wings and they can't wait for McNabb to be gone.

Bottom line is this.....if Kolb is any good (and I think he could be) then the Eagles will not get rid of him. So if they did trade him to the Panthers, you would have to assume the Eagles who have staked their future on him, did not believe he would be capable of success and you wouldn't want him anyway. Taking a chance on an unproven like Kolb is not the answer for Carolina I don't think .

Now Mcnabb going to Carolina on the other hand........

I don't see Kolb going anywhere. With how McNabb won't be around for long at Philly, it's possible they're getting to groom him for the future once McNabb done. Beside, I rather use Moore than getting Kolb. Moore don't need to compete against him.
