This is all just wild speculation , if Bill doesn't stay with with pats , he is Charger bound with a franchise QB already in place

With Teppo the clown in control , we are going to get the coach that no one else wants

Josh McDaniels, your 2024 Carolina Panthers head coach

Belichick is still a good coach.  Quite frankly the Patriots are a lot more competitive than they should be given their lack of talent.

Bill the GM is the biggest issue.  They just have so few impact players.  But they went 8-9 last year and 10-7 the year before.  Not great but again better than they should be when you look at their talent.  I think if Belichick is willing to coach a team and just coach the team, he will be fine.  However I can't see him not wanting control over personnel at his next destination.

Yeah, Belichick has always low key been a bad GM. They've drafted poorly for years. It was vets coming aboard on ring chasing discounts that saved them.

Tom Brady made Belicheat a HOF coach. A head coach is only as good as his QB.

Been preaching this for all sports to be honest.

Show me a great HC who won without great players?

Sports is a players league. HC 's are nothing more than guys who set up plays and schemes. If you don't have great players those play calls won't work.

You can put the best HC in history on our team right now and we would still be one of the worst teams in football.

Does it come with Brady? If not, meh.

It comes with Bryce Youngs football daddy in O'Brien as assistant HC & ownership/co-GM with Saban next to Tepper in a few years after Belichick gets his record. O'Brien will be elevated to HC with Young as the franchise QB for the next decade.

That's what Tepper is dreaming of

I would not be surprised at all if the next HC ends up being Bill O'Brien... Don't put it past Tepper to do it lol

Why do people not understand this simple concept? Until we upgrade the QB position and oline no head coach will have success.

Doug Pederson won it all with Foles and Wentz

Yeah not sure why they don't understand it.

And as long as Fitt is making those roster decisions we will continue to miss on quality players. It's why I have been pushy so hard for Jim Harbaugh. He has shown he can be a franchise changer if you give him a legit opportunity to be the guy. Tepper will never allow that to happen though.

He also got fired a couple years later. You need great players to have sustained playoff success. You need sustained playoff success to keep your HC job.

    • That’s a book of the great life that the Panthers have had. So great to look back on the great players and seasons that we have had. But I think the book could have been twice the size. We have had a good 30 years, up and down the standings. i know we are in a bad spot right now, but hopefully before long we will be climbing back towards that Super Bowl championship
    • LmAO ..it does not make any sense whatsoever why a team that is currently 2-0 would  trade their backup Qb to a team that is 0-2 & in the same NFC conference ? & what is Seattle going to do if Geno Smith is injured ? wouldn't a team that is  currently 2-0 & is quiet  possibly going to the playoffs  want a decent plan B that already knows how to operate their system & has some form of chemistry with their players  , like I said before this is the NFL &teams especially ones like Seattle  are NOT going to trade their backup Qb 2 games into the regular season...just saying
    • Yeah, I can see that happening, but my only thing is, whoever he goes to, it's going to be a bad team. Not a whole lot of difference between us and say Denver, Jax, the Giants or the Colts. Of course, we're probably worse, but not by that much. Manning would have to pick his poison.
