Tepper interfering with playcalling

So like, yeah I get it Tepper bad, meddling, eww, blah blah blah.

But, at the same time, if those types of plays were Young's bread and butter in college and Reich just kind of ignored it, Reich absolutely needed to be fired.

We as fans have noticed these players not being put in the best position based on play calling alone, I'm sure our scouts and FO people have too, and Reich's reaction was "Nah, my scheme can't do that"?

Yeah, fire him, move on from this dinosaur and his archaic offensive scheme.

I put the foundation down for the “tepper bad” bandwagon back when was getting oohs and ahhs for not being Jerry richardson and winning people over with inane things like the midfield logo

….and as unfortunate as it is, Frank Reich has been trying to weld players like young and others into a scheme that do not fit their strengths, and someone needed to tell him. Beyond the obvious obsessive fixation on Young, even players like Hayden hurst who have been solid and unremarkable players throughout their careers have all regressed as players here. It’s a long list.

it’s an old school mindset to acclimatize players to your system rather than adjust your system to fix your players

    • There seems to be a focus on improving the talent on defense this offseason and Evero will have more tools in his toolbox in 2025. It's hard to judge Evero's performance because he has not been given many resources to succeed. The highest defensive player they've selected during his time with the Panthers is Trevin Wallace at 72 overall. They've filled the defense with free agents the past few years and the results have largely been bad. At times in 2023, I thought Evero was making salad out of sh*t with the defense performing well despite the offense being complete and total garbage. The script seemed to flip in 2024 when an insurmountable amount of injuries torpedoed the defensive performance. Even an improvement to an average defense could mean a few more wins.
