Just FYI brother, the base defense used by Kevin Steele at Auburn during Brown’s years was the 4-3.

Now Steele lined Brown up at various positions on that defensive front at different times according to the situation and play-call, but the vast majority of snaps were at 3-tech.

Was it? Ok, I thought I remembered them running a 3-4 there, but that was several years ago and probably remembered wrong.

Earlier in the season before this offense killed the spirit of the locker room Brown was one of the few Panthers players showing heart and emotion.

He is absolutely part of our future going forward.

The offense killed the locker room lol. Defense giving up the most points in the league bruh. The TEAM is bad. It ain’t one man or one unit.

What does Derrick Brown's adjustment to the NFL have to do with Bryce Young? Is DB an undersized defender with limited at best physical traits?

He’s pointing out y’all rush to judgement and quite frankly don’t know what the fug you’re talking about. Respectfully.

The defense has certainly taken a step back as the season went on. But are you seriously going to sit there and act like the offense has not demoralized the entire team? Multiple fumbles pick sixes endless wasted drives. That doesn't all add up?

You'll throw anyone under the bus to protect Bryce.

AceBoogie I got news for folks like you and Carl Spackler. That's not your baby. He's got a mommy and daddy. He doesn't need you hijacking every thread to throw yourself in front of him as a human shield.

Yards against is good, but 35 TDs allowed is solid enough for 30th in the league. I recall ranking 30th in scoring offense being bad -- is 30th in scoring defense good?

Even if that includes offensive turnovers returned for TDs, you could take those away and it's still bottom-five in the league. Injuries have decimated them and despite that, Evero's done an admirable job. But to act like the defense has done great when that TD number is out there is crazy.

Bryce has played like a rookie. He hasn’t been the guy I’ve seen at Alabama. I’ve been underwhelmed and disappointed. Is that what you want to hear? These are the facts of how I feel.

But when it comes to the CAROLINA PANTHERS. He’s not in my top 10 list of issues with this team. If I’m wrong about Bryce then that situation will fix itself in due time. But in the meantime I do believe he’s unfairly criticized here to the  point (just like when Cam was here) that we can’t even begin to have a rational discussion

You got people here calling him Jimmy Clausen and wanting Andy Dalton to start.

    • Watching Rams/Eagles. Celebrating the St Louis Rams team that won the SB (Warner, Holt, etc..) while playing in Los Angeles seems wrong.  If I were in Los Angeles, no way I would attend a Rams game.  Probably wouldn't attend a Chargers game either.  Becoming a fan of a team that likes to move around just seems like a waste of energy as a fan.
    • The only responses I am getting after providing statistics to put opinions in perspective seem to be from people who get angry and attack stats and people whose opinions differ from their own.  Have people on the Huddle ever overreacted, exaggerated, been wrong about players before?  Sure they have, so an alternative opinion with statistical support should not cause you to attack me or my views.  I am sorry your public schools failed you.  But your reactions are very revealing--you are stuck in Piaget's concrete operational stage--learn logic, how to debate a topic, and learn the difference between facts and emotional opinions.  When I paralleled Cam's stats with Jones' to point out how remarkably similar their careers have been to this point, It blew some 40 watt minds.  I think Jones, in a better situation, could be good--that should not upset you--
    • penalties and poor hands is what cost us in the RZ Bryce missing "high" in the back of the end zone is not an issue, you're taught as a QB to throw high in the back of end zone were only the receiver can catch or no one The duo of Ian Thomas and Tommy tremble can both go at the end of the season, both been here for multiple seasons and they've barely developed
