I don’t see the point in doing it until the end of the season other than just to appease the fanbase.

I'd imagine it could be to see what Evero is capable of.  There's no point in keeping him around.  The playcalling is atrocious.  Might as well see what else you have without the Reich umbrella.

I mean yeah this is pretty obvious but also Kunkel doesn't know poo. I think tepper waits until after the season to clear house. If we go on a tear and Bryce plays much better (lol) maybe Reich could save his job but we all know that ain't happening.

Good.

Unfortunately the person who chose him will be choosing the next coach too.

And back to square one lol

More like back to square zero or even negative one

Reich aint it, but neither will whoever is willing to take the job while being willing to tie their HC career to Bryce.

Firing Reich may be one step forward, but we're taking 5 steps back once we make a new hire, just wait until after next season for a new coach, it's by far the lesser of two evils.

Only point would be in regards to Bryce.  Frank gets him murdered every game, likely is regressing and developing bad habits.  Change could alter that.  Especially if you went with an interim that preferred  run heavy ball.

of course, Tepper could just tell Frank to bench Bruce to protect whatever he thinks he has in Bryce.  But that makes his investment look the worst.

I want Fitterer gone first and foremost.  That would appease me.

If he’s axed before the end of the season you’ll see Evero as IHC. He was a hot candidate last year and Tepper will want to see what he can do.

Not unless they also fire Deuce Staley

You don't fire your HC and then promote a coordinator to interim when you have an AHC.

And if they were to promote a coordinator, it would be the OC since Deuce could then take over OC duties, promoting the DC just causes more problems.

    • From what I am seeing these are the locks for teams drafting in the top 10: 1. Ten - Cam Ward  2. Cle - Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter (it will be one of the two, so this close enough to a "lock") 4. NE - Will Campbell (it has been leaked that people in the building are claiming him as "our guy") 5. Jac - Mason Graham 7. Jets - Armand Membou (they want Graham, but he won't be there. Next guy on the board is Membou)   The real wild cards are the Giants and the Raiders. No one seems to know exactly what they want to do. I think if Hunter is there for NY they take him, but Carter is not a "need" for them, and they might entertain trades down, but anyone that wants to jump up to 3 would want a QB and that might be too rich for the return for most teams. Would someone trade up for Carter or Hunter? Maybe. But it would need to be a team on the verge of winning a championship to make that move seem logical. The Raiders could go any direction. They need help on both sides of the ball. They won't go QB because of the trade for Geno. With Pete Carroll at the helm, the logical thought is defensive back. Could Starks or Emmanwori go this high? Does Carroll like Will Johnson enough to pick him? Is Jeanty their guy? I think the Panthers spot at 8 has become very attractive. It isn't top 5, so it won't cost as much to trade up into it, and it is right above the Saints, who could be in the QB market, and the Bears, which have been heavily linked to Jeanty. I think if Jeanty is on the board at 8, Jerry Jones won't be able to help himself and will call us. Morgan will likely take the trade, add picks, and still get one of his top guys.
    • All I know is the track record of 1st round rookie Wr getting less than 500 yards in year 1 is very bleak. And mad because Bryce looks bad? I'm mad if a player in a panther jersey drops the ball. Don't get that argument...
    • Will say, I was watching clips and J Stewart was a nightmare for potential 1st round OT Ersery w/Minnesota.  Took care of that kid when they played.
