I hate this team

I love the fans, community and players, but I hate the product on the field and the people higher up. I'm not normally a negative guy, I've actually tried to be very positive in my entire huddle tenure throughout the good and the bad, but this season is doing something to me. I don't know if it's the build up from Rhule and all this poo now pushing me over the edge, but it's very hard not to be critical and just rant these days.

1-16 will be rock bottom.

We will get there too because Bryce will not get benched.  Crazy thing is the little guy is surprising resilient amid all the hits. Nothing serious, but Young could stub his toe for and miss a game or two. I'd be happy to see Dalton get some starts.  This offense would actually be watchable.

There is no benefit to continuing to play Young in this offense. Yet, we will keep trotting him out there.

Sorry I normally lurk in the Huddle shadows and don’t post but I can’t help myself. I hate the Carolina Panthers as currently constructed. P*ss poor team, p*ss poor coaching, p*ss poor roster construction, p*ss poor ownership, p*ss poor marketing. The future looks bleak, hopeless, there’s no viable path forward to getting out of this mess. I hate myself for feeling this way about my team. I’ve bled Black & Blue since the beginning, but I feel literal embarrassment with anything having to do with this team. Gotdam this is miserable. And I don’t think we’ve reached rock bottom yet.

Sorry I’m in my feels. Retreating to the shadows now.

I feel exactly the same way. There is no way forward at present. I honestly think thing the best path is trade whatever you can for several years. I mean trade away next years high second for the following years 1st and 3rd kinda thing. Build assets

    • Yeah and he succeeded at an even higher level in LA with an even better surrounding cast. Goff is a guy that isn't really able to dramatically elevate players around him but he can make a good situation even better. He is capable of that. Some QB's aren't. I am not sure Dak is able to do that and he is in a similar "class" as Goff, IMO.
    • i think i could handle that for a year. beyond that....i don't know.  back where we lived, when we had a few inches of snow, it might have been a couple feet because we weren't getting out and doing anything. i remember times where power would go out for days on end. we had propane and electric heat, depending on the floor. basement (had a couple bedrooms and a living room and kitchen down there) and main floor had gas logs. main floor gas logs was enough to take care of the upstairs, so we could stay warm and cook on the grill when we needed. we had a well so that was always an issue when the power went out. had to make sure tubs were filled with water for the toilets and we had gallons of water for drinking and cooking available. always had to make sure we were ready. that wasn't always the case. we had a couple moments where we were going through propane quickly and because we were dealing with the worst propane company in the world (amerigas) they wouldn't get out to put gas in our 900 gallon tank. made for some nerve racking moments.  i know y'all were probably a lot more able to handle that kind of thing, but after the little bit (comparatively) that we got here i just have no desire to get trapped again. maybe for a day or two a year get snowed in and i'm good.
    • I think he is just drawing a DC to them line and that's about as far as his thought process went. It makes almost no sense outside of that. Also, it doesn't make sense for Pittsburgh or Seattle at this juncture either.  I think our "veteran" pool is basically gonna be the Dalton/Flacco tier or the "pick your poison" options of young busts(Jones/Z. Wilson) or wild, TO prone gunslingers(Darnold/Winston/etc). We have the option to pursue I genuinely believe(depending on the way the rest of this season goes), we either draft a QB in the top 10 or resign Dalton. Outlier third option on taking one of the wild gunslingers that Dave feels like he can work with.
