how many underthrows did he have today, how many times did he bail from a clean pocket, how many times did he miss a wide open wr?   keep making excuses

In all fairness beyond his gaf cool dude under fire attitude the guy might actually be David Carred at this point.  Probably just needs a pair of gloves  for the average fan to see it.

He doesn’t have BC covering up for his mistakes like last year and we can’t play the scheme from last year because the team neglected to get a power back and a number 1 wr to make the scheme work..

A power back running exclusively out of the gun wouldn't make a difference

That's why I say it's not good.

Regardless of whether Chark meant it that way, it reads like he's throwing Bryce under the bus.

Well it was only a matter of time before the offensive players so many here have been calling trash week in and week out vocally express their own frustrations.

I don't know whether that's what he's doing, but it doesn't necessarily matter because that's how it reads.

Your whole point might be valid if they never line up under center (which they do) or if you could trust the passing blocking to block for a drop under center (which we can’t)..

Elite? Nah.  I do remember three attempts he tried to bounce pass to the WRs.  I guess he's been told he's a point guard, but someone should remind him those passes aren't allowed in the NFL.

He bounce a few today.. So does every QB who has been hit and doesn’t trust his Oline..

ppl are doing the same criticism they did with Cam about his accuracy..
Every other QB makes perfect reads and passes (because you don’t watch every throw like you did Cam or Bryce..

    • Yeah and he succeeded at an even higher level in LA with an even better surrounding cast. Goff is a guy that isn't really able to dramatically elevate players around him but he can make a good situation even better. He is capable of that. Some QB's aren't. I am not sure Dak is able to do that and he is in a similar "class" as Goff, IMO.
    • i think i could handle that for a year. beyond that....i don't know.  back where we lived, when we had a few inches of snow, it might have been a couple feet because we weren't getting out and doing anything. i remember times where power would go out for days on end. we had propane and electric heat, depending on the floor. basement (had a couple bedrooms and a living room and kitchen down there) and main floor had gas logs. main floor gas logs was enough to take care of the upstairs, so we could stay warm and cook on the grill when we needed. we had a well so that was always an issue when the power went out. had to make sure tubs were filled with water for the toilets and we had gallons of water for drinking and cooking available. always had to make sure we were ready. that wasn't always the case. we had a couple moments where we were going through propane quickly and because we were dealing with the worst propane company in the world (amerigas) they wouldn't get out to put gas in our 900 gallon tank. made for some nerve racking moments.  i know y'all were probably a lot more able to handle that kind of thing, but after the little bit (comparatively) that we got here i just have no desire to get trapped again. maybe for a day or two a year get snowed in and i'm good.
    • I think he is just drawing a DC to them line and that's about as far as his thought process went. It makes almost no sense outside of that. Also, it doesn't make sense for Pittsburgh or Seattle at this juncture either.  I think our "veteran" pool is basically gonna be the Dalton/Flacco tier or the "pick your poison" options of young busts(Jones/Z. Wilson) or wild, TO prone gunslingers(Darnold/Winston/etc). We have the option to pursue I genuinely believe(depending on the way the rest of this season goes), we either draft a QB in the top 10 or resign Dalton. Outlier third option on taking one of the wild gunslingers that Dave feels like he can work with.
