I didn't say that. The entire offense sucks and Bryce is a big part of that and CJ Stroud is miles better than Bryce Young.

He's no small part of it though. Pun intended. A franchise qb has the ability to be a tide that raises all ships, and he cannot do that, at all.

Stroud was the guy that I wanted, but objectively speaking, the team has done a terrible job of helping Young out.

Nobody doubts that Newton was a franchise quarterback, but we still lost more games with him than we won.

It's not a myth at all. That's the very definition of franchise qb. Hence the word franchise. It's fine to not be in agreement. It's very admirable you are willing to still see how it will play out.
