Superbowl Gameday Food Ideas

Liminy

Recommended Posts

I realize that there is the usual wings, burgers, etc. I'm wanting to make something unique but at the same time something that is easy. I was just wondering if anyone had some unique ideas or wants to give some recipes for some good ol' Carolina cooking. Just something that doesn't take forever to cook but it still a hit with people. Honestly I can't remember the good food my Dad or G-Ma used to make when I was down there. It's been forever. Any ideas are much appreciated.

Touchdown Taco Dip

1 Can of Refried Beans

8 oz cream cheese

12 oz sour cream

2 tbsp taco seasoning

shredded cheddar cheese

Spread the Beans evenly in a glass pan

Mix the Cream Cheese, Sour Cream and 2 tbsp taco seasoning in a bowl, then spread on top of the beans

Place cheddar cheese on top of mix

Cook in oven at 350* for 12 minutes or until cheese melts...

Eat with tortilla chips or nacho cheese doritoes as a dip. Mmmmmm...

For a extra (if I'm hungry), I brown 1 1/2 lbs. of ground beef in taco seasoning as if for tacos, and spread it between the beans and cream cheese/sour cream mix. Some people also add sliced tomatoes and/or peppers on top for some kick.

I'm definitely making this but with one small addition.

I just have one question. Which layer would be the best to put the potbrownies in? :D

    • Canales was brought in to fix Bryce. That was how he sold himself. He failed.  the panthers need a new qb, someone to coach him, and someone to build a defensive staff.  Canales has failed at developing a new qb. His big draft project XL is trending towards bust. His entire nfl resume before the panthers was one season as offensive coordinator on a stacked Bucs team, and being on the offensive staff when a 31 year old Geno smith finally put it all together. And he didn’t even pick his offensive coordinator. Assuming evero is gone, who’s he got in that phone to call? What low lvl porn addict evangelical from the bucs is ready to be Peter principled? There is nothing in his coaching history or his current performance that indicates he’s the person to move this team forward. Every other team knew this last cycle (panthers were only interview) and nothing has happened to change that perception   all people like you have is “well you can’t do it again it’s too soon but <random interval of time> will be different.  just pull off the bandage. There’s no reason to let this guy draft “his guy” except people wanting an excuse not to fire him after 2025.
    • Both Reich and Canales were saddled with trying to build and establish a viable scoring offense around Bryce Young. The best the offense looked this season and last season was with Andy Dalton who is also terrible but still better than Bryce Young. Which should be all anyone needs to know but still somehow there are weirdos here salivating over a ceiling of maybe on a really good day the 25th best QB in the league. We've already canned one entire staff over our first overall pick. You can fire everyone again to satisfy your need for vengeance and quickly come to the realization that your next hire will absolutely unequivocally be a downgrade yes man or you can blow up this QB room and then assess. If no progress next season then you can make changes and justifiably so.
    • Surprised this is the only post with this take.  This is like the Rhule kiss of death lol.
