Tom Talks: Adults shouldn't ask for autographs

Have to admit I have never understood the fascination with autographs. I am not surprised that some well known people get curt with fans asking for them. But to each his own.

Only once have I ever asked anyone famous for an autograph, and that was Chris Paul when he played for Wake. He signed my son's basketball. And that was only because my son wanted it. Of course, I worked with his mom, so it was a bit easier for me.

I sat right in front of Jeff Fisher and his family at our Super Bowl in Houston, the Titans head coach for those that don't know, and talked literally the whole game, about the game. Never asked for his autograph, but I did take a pic. :D

I'm sure he is still pissed at me for not asking for the sig though. One of many stories I have been involved with in my short life. :cheers2:
