Sorenson is just mad because I had all the other charlotte observer beat writers sign my sunday paper and walked right by him because I didnt know who he was.

Have to admit I have never understood the fascination with autographs. I am not surprised that some well known people get curt with fans asking for them. But to each his own.

Only once have I ever asked anyone famous for an autograph, and that was Chris Paul when he played for Wake. He signed my son's basketball. And that was only because my son wanted it. Of course, I worked with his mom, so it was a bit easier for me.

If you are an adult, then you really shouldn't care what Tom Sorrenson has to say. As long as you are not neglecting your "adult" responsibilities, you can do whatever you want imo.

I sat right in front of Jeff Fisher and his family at our Super Bowl in Houston, the Titans head coach for those that don't know, and talked literally the whole game, about the game. Never asked for his autograph, but I did take a pic.

I'm sure he is still pissed at me for not asking for the sig though. One of many stories I have been involved with in my short life. :cheers2:

Sorenson is awesome in that he gets people who have no sense of humor and take sports too seriously all wound up. It's his job and he's pretty good at it.

personally i collect them for the memories. i have no intention of selling or trading my items. its more for the fun of collecting them and then looking back and saying do you remember tht time at training camp or man that was a fun season. just adds to the fun of being a fan.
