I hope David Tepper is aware of a basic truth

He's a deterrent if Tepper says he's the QB and the candidate watches the film and says, yeah... that dude ain't it

I don’t think it would come to that honestly, Bryce isn’t being paid 250 million dollar contract and we aren’t financially tied to him like Russell Wilson.

It shouldn't but who knows with Tepper. We're probably committed to Bryce at least one more year. There just about has to be off field issues for a top pick QB not to get at least two years now matter how awful they are as a rookie

The answers were obvious in front of his face he just didn’t want them.

Promote Wilks to HC

Resign Cam

Draft Stroud or AR

Keep last years running game and philosophy

Keep DJ Moore

Broken down Cam Newton? That's not an answer at all. He looked terrible at the end of his career.

I don't think we should judge frank untill we get a competent QB , we are asking him to win the race with no engine or tires

No other candidate will come here if they have to start Bryce Young

This offense is god awful. It's boring and predictable with hardly any motion. Supposedly he picked Bryce. If that's true, he can be judged because this is his guy. If Tepper picked Bryce, then that means it's still Frank's fault for agreeing to work for someone making player decisions with absolutely no idea what they're doing.

Might as well get a heart transplant at Meineke.

There will always be candidates. There are only 32 of these jobs in the world. Don't under estimate the drive and egos of some folks that think they can be the 1 to turn something around. Regarding Young, we aren't on the hook for a fortune to him, so there is no obligation to keep him if/when there is a change at the top.

This is my thoughts exactly, if you’re a first time candidate for HC and come out with demands then you better be in the Super Bowl in 3 years because the coaches that work with what they have do much better in the long run.

The ONLY path forward is this.

You get a president of football operations hired immediately. Ideally, nobody you know closely if you're Tepper. Somebody with an objective view and a track record of success or a resume under other successful people. You hire that person and you never, ever give your input on what you want outside of "a winning football team". That's it. If he fails, poo can him after 5 years (let's be real, that's how long it takes to unfug this mess) and hire somebody else. But you don't get involved with the actual football team beyond hiring that guy ever again. You're bad at it, you're clueless, and you are torching the franchise scrambling for solutions.

Tepper doesn't do that, we're looking at 15 years minimum of absolute fuging pathetic football because Tepper will absolutely not sell if he is making money, and it's damn near impossible to lose money when you own an NFL team. So Tepper is here until he decides he doesn't want to.

It won't take 5 years. Not if you have the right people in place. Now, next year is going to be bad, but maybe not as bad as this year.

I agree about restructuring the operations, and Tepper needs to sign checks and be a cheerleader. I think our scouting department has become very inconsistent. I don't think we do well developing players. I don't think we have had an identity since Cam, Luke and the others from the last run left the game. Establishing those things again will not be overnight.

But getting back to being competitive will not be a 5 year plan, if the right choices are made. I have no confidence that can happen though.

Ive been a fan since we were awarded the Franchise. Ive been thru the ups and downs. (the Seifart years, the Rhule years, the Reich year). But thru it all I endured cause we were at the bottom of the pendulum about to swing up. The 2001 season led us to John Fox, a SB appearance and countless all pro/Hall of Fame players. The 2010 season led us to Rivera, a SB appearance and countless All Pro/Hall of Fame players. Then Tepper bought the team. After the 2019 season, we got hit with Matt Rhule, Teddy 2 gloves, hardly any players really to mention, traded players/released a legend, didnt even make the playoffs or sniff them. And then there was the 2022 season, which Rhule was fired in the middle of and Wilks took over. Suddenly there was hope, and that was quickly extengiushed with the hiring of Frank Reich. All of the work that Wilks had done to help the team was gone. And now we're left with a coach who lost the locker room before he even took the job, who was told they were drafting a player he didnt want to be "his" qb, who is so inept at offence that he makes John Fox's offense look exciting. I'm not excited to watch this team anymore. I havent watched a live Panthers game since before the bye week. All I do now is just check out highlights or box scores.

I guess what I'm trying to say is f*ck David Tepper for being an idiot and ruining this franchise. He's run us into the ground faster the Jeff Davidson's offense did.

everything was going in the right direction after firing rhule.

this wouldn't sting so bad had rhule been fired after the season and everything transitioned into the trash heap we're watching now.

what we saw on the field the second half of last year was the foundation you build on. wilks may not have been the long term answer, but there's no denying what he was establishing was.

Wilks And the players on last year’s team got that identity thing straightened out PDQ.

In my opinion, and before my very eyes in real time, Tepper and Fitterer and their hires tore a lot of the good right out of the team, right off the bat. They just tore it down. It did not make sense unless they were for real going to break out some revolutionary stuff.

Which, there has been no trace of creativity. At. All. Anyone else seen any? It is so bad, it seems as if it has to be intentional. No one is that damned sorry and disjointed in their thinking and planning and developing, naturally.

Never seen anything like it.
