Fallout: New Vegas

The only thing that's taken away from the game for me is the two freezes I've had happen, but it wasnt that big of a deal for me. I'm used to playing Bethesda games, so I save quite often.

Did anyone explore the ungroung bunker area...I think its called happy hills or something like that... Its like a fenced in area with like 3-4 bomb bunkers in it???

hidden valley?

has some mini nukes in there behind very hard locked door other than that it is pretty worthless, it is part of a quest later though. I have over 40 hours on here, got to a level 25 and had to start over because of a fuging glitch or whatever that corrupted my saves. Now I am almost a level 20 for the second time, so about 40 hours play in all and I have discovered almost 3/4ths of the map and little more than half the quests.

If this game feels bigger than fallout 3 to you it's not. It is much smaller and the missions/areas are actually pretty condensed than Fo3. The difference is you walk a bit slower so it seems bigger. Ingenious and kind of lazy of obsidian, not that that wasn't already a given when they released a game full of bugs.

I like fo3 better but it's hard comparing a ground breaking, innovative game to a follow up with a few new things in it, the original is going to have some bias. Despite this I still liked fo3 better and think it is much bigger maybe with a bit less condensed areas to explore.

It's a good game but 60 hours should be about it wish it were a little bigger and more was put into it. I still think oblivion was better and that was released 5 years ago.

Same with me... That is one reason I don't wanna get too heavily into it right now...

I had times with Fallout 3 where I would lose track of 8 or 9 hours of my life, and it would seem like 15 minutes...

That happened to me a few times with New Vegas, I started playing the other night around 9pm or so and next thing I know, I get up for a drink and its 4 in the morning and I have to be up in 3 hours. lol

yes still playing this...it is a good game and for sure worth it's value. if you haven't bought it already you should. Forceunleashed 2 sucked, fable 3 sucked and arcania (a Fiz recomendation) sucked real really bad.

Looking forward to call of duty and AC but right now this is the game to play.
