You really think that is the biggest difference? You don't see any other key factors?

Sorry, I said that wrong. What I meant is that when comparing their two supporting casts, CJ's OL is a much greater cause for his early success as opposed to his group of pass catchers. Even though both groups are better than the ones we have here. But Tunsil is legit a top 2 LT in the NFL. I watched much of that game today and he has clean pockets most drop backs, this is really important.

Again, Bryce will never be as good as CJ I'm more than ready to admit this. However, I'm not ready to call Bryce a bonafide bust yet. I still think there's a chance he can become a QB you can win a lot of games with if he has a better supporting cast. That's my hope, at least.

I think they have the #1 defense in the league. At least that was the ranking a couple of weeks ago. Doubt it has changed too much if any.

Jim Schwartz is one of those guys that probably won't ever be a great head coach but is an elite level coordinator.

Stroud is the real deal.  End of story.  He looks the part of an nfl qb.  Has the confidence in himself and. His teammates and elevates them   He is fearless

…as he said ‘I’m a football player, not a test taker’.

the panthers can’t even get a TD against the Bears.

but hey, Bryce is cerebral, likes his Momma and Daddy, is polite   Participation trophy for the Panthers …oh yeah, I forgot, he is good at screen tests but on the field, well lacking

What is this forum going to do if somehow the Texans made it all the way to the Super Bowl with rookie CJ Stroud?

Tell you if CJ and Bryce were switched that Bryce would have lead them to an undefeated season. Or somehow won the Super Bowl before it even started. Cope, basically.

    • McVay knew he had to have a better qb to win the super bowl.  Goff at the time simply didnt have the arsenal in his game to elevate a team and put it on his back to win games.  Much like Smith in SF and KC, he was a good qb but the coaches realized he was never going to be good enough.  His passing ability was limited much like goff.  (Insert Canales logic with Bryce)  Then you can do Jimmy G.  When you know you just know.  Its a qb driven league and you need a dynamic talent to win in the playoffs.
    • All of them are better than Bryce except for Jones and that's the only thing that matters.
    • If we start turning the ball over(highly likely with Bryce) then it could get ugly. That's the only way I think it could be 20+. I do think Bryce gets yanked in the second half for Dalton, however. This is the game he loses his job to Dalton for the rest of the year. Canales was right when he said it last. Andy still gives us the best chance to win any game. I don't know what to think of KC. On the one hand, they seem to find a way in most of these games to prevail, so they obviously are a very mentally tough team(see the 49ers blowing leads left and right) but this is overwhelmingly the worst season in Mahomes career. Frankly, he has been in the bottom third in the NFL all season. That's strange.
