Actually saw the movie and still don’t remember it.

I got a sense of humour outside of this lower than poo football operation, but the horrible football we have been tethered to (simply due to geography at this point), crushes it every time it tries to take a breath.

And btw if that coward poo is another movie,  I don’t get that one either but whatever. If it is a typical insult fug off.

There is no way you saw Billy Madison and do not remember that quote.

I don’t think I saw that one. I know it’s an Adam Sandler movie, and outside of a couple, they are pretty juvenile. I was in and out of that demographic by the time he was getting bankable I guess they call it.

I couldn’t tell you what Billy Madison is about much less quote it (so pull my card I guess).

Pickles was the worst QB I have ever seen. I am so underwhelmed with everything Bryce is but even I can't say they are similar.

The outcome may be similar but that has everything to do with them going 'all in on Bryce' and not just calling it what it is, a huge mistake they need to own so they can then move forword with some shred of competency. Keep trying to build around Bryce at the team's expense and tank next year also.

That, Big Daddy and the waterboy were his best. All childish but funny.

Sorry Happy Gilmore not Maddison. That one was really childish. Also Little Nicky was fun.

Pickles is worse, but Pickles wasn't the #1 pick.  If we're talking about a weighted score Bryce is, by far, the more disappointing of the two.

Exponentially. The cost… it is all like the pebble thrown in the still pool, and where those ripples go, except this is more like an asteroid.

Clausen was like a throwaway. Blink and he was gone. He got a bad deal really, but it is still up to the player who has the opportunity to overcome it. It was there for him.

Edit: like it is in the current situation. I can see that Young is trying. He’ll need all his skills and maybe then some to make it.

There it is. Not the pmay but the situation. Pickles earned us Cam and helped get Hurney fired which resulted in the Panthers best years.

    • This is factually incorrect. He was a two time Pro Bowler with the Rams and in fact statistically he was better with the Rams in his best season there than he has been with the Lions(could change with this season). Some of his per game stats have creeped into being marginally better with the Lions but there have not been dramatic differences in his play, actually. The biggest reason that McVay and he ended up splitting was McVay didn't think he could win a title with Goff. TBH.....so far he was 100% correct. Stafford almost immediately won them a SB and Goff in a historic run was about 70% of the reason the Lions faltered in the NFC championship game. He missed critical throws all over the first half and throughout the second half that he normally wouldn't. He choked. So, until Goff actually does win a SB...McVay has been right.
    • they have the best defense they've had in a long time...probably the best in the reid/mahommes era.  but i think they are probably the most beatable they've been in a while as well. record doesn't exactly bear that out, but they just don't look as strong on offense as they usually do. lots of reasons for that, like trying to build chemistry with newer receivers, but right now they just aren't as frightening as they typically are. i mean they'll probably win tomorrow, but i don't see them as the strongest team in the AFC right now.
    • He will likely remain unsigned the remainder of this season(barring someone being in a pure QB panic AND making poor decisions) largely due to the cost. I do think he will get multiple offers to be a backup QB and perhaps a couple to potentially start this offseason.  I will continue to beat the same horse over and over.....he should go to a successful team with an established starter. If I were him, go to somewhere like SF, LAR, etc. Somewhere with a successful QB coach and brilliant offensive mind and ALSO a set situation at QB. Ride the pine and adjust for a year or two. Chill and be around better culture. I would suggest the same for Bryce but he will be limited to wherever we can trade him.
