I'm actually starting Chicago D in fantasy. That's how little faith I have in this offensive line.

I'm doing that in one of my leagues too.  I'm up big in one and taking the slight gamble for the potential big payoff.

Look at us, having no faith in our teams and putting money and pride on the line for it.

Doesn't matter. With this talent-poor roster created by Tepper's Data-centric analytics model, we are doomed until he sells or lets football people make football decisions.

Tepper's biggest fault is his entire career in finance is working against him as a football team owner. The smartest people with the best data aren't always the best football players. Sometimes you win football games just by being bigger and faster than the other team.

I really hope we win convincingly if a dub occurs.

If we win by simply not being as terrible as Chicago in a 17-13ish affair, then we'll feel a bit stuck, no different than a loss.

I mean, if we get cooked by an undrafted rookie QB we deserve everything bad they're going to say about us.  There is absolutely no way we SHOULD lose this game.  #1 overall pick rookie QB going against undrafted rookie QB.  That being said, I completely expect us to get packed up in convincing fashion.  Its the Panther way, after all.

I don’t think it matters. OL can’t block and receivers haven’t been able to separate against anybody.

There it is.  Strange to pin it all on Bryce.  Our O-line will get beat by every D-line in the league.  Our WRs can't beat any corners in the league.

Bears defense has allowed the most passing TDs, 2nd most passing yards, 2nd most passing 1st downs, the 3rd highest completion percentage, and the fewest sacks in the NFL.

If Bryce stinks it up tonight....yikes.

I hate this fuging narrative that the offense is all on Bryce. Should be if the offense stinks it up. If the line can’t protect and WRs can’t get open then no Bryce won’t have a good game statistically. What he can do is not compound the mistakes of those around him with poor decisions.

Speaking of I have to either play Chuba or D'onta...

Hmmm...

Bears have the #4 ranked rush D.  They are #1 in yards per rush attempt allowed.

Panthers have the #28 ranked rush D.  They are #24 in yard per rush attempt allowed.

Seems like a no brainer call BUT it's more complicated than it seems.  Herbert has had a full week of practice.   He is the #1 RB.   Seems projected to play. They have to activate him today off IR.    So that complicates it.

I've been eyeing because in one league I'm weak at #2RB spot.  Toss up between Herbert off IR vs Gus Edwards (who has been surpassingly great fantasy play the last 3 weeks.  Which makes me want to Herbert as Gus as just been too good given his unique role).

    • lol It's 2 games in with a broken QB it's too early to tell. I hope Canales works out but this is still funny.
    • Man there truly is no helping the stupid that litters this place
    • This backlash has truly been sad and was part of the reason I believe Bryce was drafted in the first place. He was small and looked like a kid and everybody just loved that he was also good at football. Once I heard CJ Stroud talking on his podcast tour this summer, I was like well that is the reason he isn't here. I remember the hatred for Cam that basically arose out of him being a massive, confident, black man. Every time a new broadcast crew met him during warmups the telecast was just about how larger than life he was. I even had a friend who is close to Cam's size talk about him sucking the air out of every room goes into like being big, loud, and confident is a bad thing. And many here along with the media never showed any sympathy, empathy, or a second thought to the shite Cam had to put up with while here. Till this day it is either about the stupid fumble that didn't matter that he didn't jump on, or that he only had like one good year.  So to see this crazy backlash from the sports and social media regarding Canales benching a small, weak, entitled, non verbal QB who is playing terrible, struggling to recognize defenses, missing open WRs, and leaving clean pockets is mind blowing! Only Chase Daniels watched the film before talking this week. Everyone else used it as an opportunity pine for Bryce and crap on organization. Again, I hope someone is dumb enough to give us Josh Rosen compensation for him.
