Even without 04, Peyton's numbers are better.

what I'm saying is look at Brees' numbers...he really isn't that far behind!

This was your defiant stand mere 4 posts after the OP suggested the two names being that close is laughable.

So what is it? Is Brees the best? Manning? Brady?

Next time try to not backtrack to the level you did in this case. Just because someone dared to suggest Brees was not the best you got all uperty and defended him, then after looking at the facts you tried to back track.

Sometimes, just sometimes I wish bandwagon fans were not so impulsive with their praising/criticising of players. It makes them look ridiculous half the time.

stats don't mean diddly doo doo when comparing players. When a guy is productive that's good and good stats do correlate to good players. But after that it's pretty pointless.

It's funny that he says 1A and 1B. A = 1, and B = 2. Peyton is much better than everyone. It's more like he's 1, then a few other guys should be the 2a, 2b, and 2c.

All time; Brady has the hardware to prove it, end of story, he's better. Right now, Manning is the playing the best of anyone; with Brees closely behind.

yes it does, he's saying Manning has done more with less. That's all. He carries the team, the colts would be nothing without him. When Brady got injured the pats went 11-5. Manning gets injured colts are poo. There have been times where Brady has carried the pats but manning pretty much carries the colts every year.

It's like comparing wes welker to steve smith. Both are slot recievers and have simmilar skills and roles. But it's obvious who's the better WR. You put smith or manning on the pats and you'll have a beast.

No. Peyton is the greatest player in the history of the NFL and will probably be one of the best head coaches/offensive coordinators after he's done playing. End of story.

That's bullshit. Manning has had Harrison, Wayne, and Clark his whole career. Brady won 3 Super Bowls with less by having an endless rotation of receivers each year and minimal run game.

I agree with you if the argument was about offensive sucess, but Brady had some great defences while Manning had nothing there.

Regardless you only proclaimed Manning as better once you had seen the statistics, you first post contested that Brees was every bit the QB Manning was.

Then you said that Manning will be the greatest of all time.

Then you said that Brady was being dissed as you felt he was the best QB in the league.

Then you went back to saying Manning is the best ever.

Now you claim that Brady has the hardware suggesting he is the best in the league.

Manning hasn't exactly had the best rushing attack either. In fact I'm pretty sure the patriots have been better recently. The colts really only rushed the ball better/more in the 1st 2-3 years of mannings career. The colts have been in the cellar the last two years rushing.

Manning plays well no matter who he's throwing to. He and manning both had record years when they had a lot of weapons. But peyton keeps up a consistent standard of quality better than Brady.

Manning did it with Dallas Clark, Marvin Harrison & Reggie Wayne.....all 3 potential HOF
