Says the panthers will pick:

2-Golden Tate WR (sweeeeeet I'd be happy with Lafell too)

3-Trevard Lindley CB

4-Dan Lafevour QB (sweeeeeeeeet)

6-Adam Ulatoski OT

6-Nate Collins DT

7-Jammie Kirlew DE

We will also be getting some supplementary picks when peppers leaves, so we could get some other solid guys as well. I like this site.

I don't like the CB pick in the 3rd. Unless we lose Marshall, but even then I think Captain will be ready to be a #2 soon.

Supplementary picks for Peppers won't be until 2011 if he leaves this year. However, we will have 2 extras this year for losing Hangartner and Omiyale, likely to be 5th and 6th rounders at best.

I'd be happy to get Tate I think. He's looked good in all the videos I've seen and has had quite a bit written about him.

I've not heard of the other guys. Anyone know anything about them?

I'd take a QB w/ that 3rd round pick, or maybe even go QB with the 2nd round pick instead of WR?

That draft has Jevan Snead still on the board at the beginning of the 3rd round. At one time, he was considered the 2nd best QB draft prospect behind Bradford - so there must be something there? I might take him in the 2nd and use the 3rd round pick on the best WR available.

I think it's pretty safe to assume Tate would be gone by the time we came up to pick in the 3rd, but according to that draft Jordan Shipley, Arrelious Benn and Demaryius Thomas would still be on the board when it was our turn. Thomas @ 6'3" 229 has the size to be a good replacement for Moose.

Thomas possesses great size at 6′3, 229 lbs. and is a very talented player. He was overlooked in college due to Georgia Tech’s option-based offense, but he had an excellent junior season. Thomas finished the year with 46 receptions, 1,154 yards and eight touchdowns. That’s 25.1 yards per reception! Over his career, he had 120 receptions, 2,339 yards and 14 touchdowns. Depending on Thomas’ 40 time, he could shoot up draft boards. He is currently projected as a second round pick.

While perusing through random January mock NFL Drafts, we couldn't help but notice one player absent from many of the projected first rounds. Georgia Tech wide receiver Demaryius Thomas didn't make SI.com's top 32, or Mel Kiper's initial mock of draft season.

Just what is it that this guy lacks?

Thomas, the Yellow Jackets' leading receiver in 2009, declared for the draft a year early after leading the ACC in receiving yards and averaging 25.1 yards per reception as a junior. He caught just 46 passes, but Georgia Tech only connected on 78 throws all season. Thomas accounted for nearly 60 percent of the school's completions.

He also gained extensive blocking experience in coach Paul Johnson's decidedly run-heavy offense, beat constant double teams, and averaged 19.49 yards per catch for his career as a three-year starter.

At 6-foot-3 and 229 pounds, Thomas resembles another Georgia Tech alum that has rapidly developed into one of the NFL's elite receivers. We have a feeling that Thomas will be among the "late risers" leading up to draft day, and would be pretty surprised if he isn't taken on day one.

I'm a big believer in Golden Tate. Otherwise, those picks are meh to me. Dan Lefevour? Really? Central Michigan? Sigh....

I will bet anyone here about $50 that we will NOT get Golden. If he stays healthy and does a decent/good combine, some team will pick him way too high for what he's worth. He will not land on us.

I would be thrilled if we could grab Tate, but I agree that he's likely to go in the first.

Tate would be awesome to have but dont see him falling that far in the 2nd, too much of a playmaker. I def. dont see LeFevour lasting til the 4th, especially after a good senior bowl and poor one by Pike and The Golden Calf of Bristol. I think Lefevour may be the third quarterback taken in the draft. I think the rams draft DT with their first then take a QB with their second. Maybe we could pick up Case Keenum in the 4th but not sure how good he will be.

I would be willing to trade up for a guy like Tate. We need another guy with speed. If we could find a guy who's big and fast that would be great, but I also wouldn't mind giving Jarrett his shot with Matt Moore, but regardless we need speed at WR. Having Tate on the field with Smitty, Jarrett, Rosario/Barnidge, and Deangelo would just be too much for defenses to handle. And quite frankly we owe it to Steve Smith to get him some help, if we don't sign any WR in FA we need to make a move to get one in the draft. One that can immediately help.

i would love to get tate, he will propably slip a little when the combine comes because of hes short and doesnt run a 4.3 40 i just care about what players do on the field not the combine. cough cough jemarcus russel

You sure about that? I see the Rams going QB with the first pick.
