Brees was also taller with a better arm.
Bryce struggles to throw accurately at 20 yards.
Never liked or agreed with the Brees comparison.
I feel Bryce‘s ceiling is Bridgewater.

If Bryce's ceiling is Teddy, then we definitely fuged up royally.

I'm hoping yeah they may of drafted Burrow, but we drafted Tua. It could be worse. I'm no longer mad at the pick, just what we had to give up to go get him which isnt on him.

Yea its a haul for a project qb. I think its fair to say its already disappointing based on he isnt a immediate difference maker

I dont think thats fair to compare him to Teddy yet. Bryce arm keeps being sold low not sure why its not as bad as people are saying

Through 8 games you’d think I would see something that made me excited about his throwing ability. But almost all I have seen is meh. Nothing exciting. Nothing that says yeah this guy was worth all the capital we spent on him. This guy was worth taking 1st overall.
All I see is a struggling, mediocre at best QB. Regardless of being a rookie even Lawrence, people seem to love bringing him up, had some good highlights by the 8 game mark in spite of Urban Meyer being an idiot.
I have said it before, you don’t trade up for a QB and take him first overall if you need a perfect team around him. If you do then the team made a big mistake.

You know, I have said in the past that I believed in acquiring quality vets for the O-line as opposed to drafting them. Nothing in the past 5-10 years has really changed my mind.

I wouldn’t be opposed to that type of policy.

NCAA has done a poo job training OL forthe pro game the last however many years.

Drafting Tackles especially has become a guessing game of projections and extrapolation.

Edit: I understand it is not the NCAA’s job to train people for an NFL career, but effectively, that is what it is.
