Where I'm at midseason

Honestly my problem is bigger than Wilks.

It's the fact we hired a HC who was fired mid season who happens to be a older HC. Like Tepper seems lost when it comes to hiring the right HC.

In a perfect world we go after Harbaugh and give him full control. At least he is proven to build championship proven teams at both levels. I don't care about what comes with Harbaugh. As long as we winning games again is all I care about.

Harbaugh had issues with the players. What he does in college is different because players are there 4 years and are gone. Not saying he didn't have success, but it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows between him and the team.

Where I'm at midseason:

This franchise is doomed for the next 3-4 seasons minimum. There is no choice now but to eat this poop-sandwich that Tepper and his yes-men up top have created. You simply cannot pay the price we did to get to #1 and completely whiff on the QB, just can't happen. BY may improve, and he has my support, but he's so clearly limited at this level that I'm just not holding my breath for him to become a top 10 guy.

Anything other than drafting a rookie QB wasn't an option.  If you can't see that my man, you are in need of a walking stick and a seeing-eye dog.  Tepper was done with FA QBs with marginal success.

Putting your faith in Tepper and Fitt when it comes to a draft pick is hilarious.

But go ahead and keep supporting their hires and draft picks. They are the reason we suck right now.

So much value lost. Just run last years stuff and trade him away as a LT at the end of the year or better yet flip him to RT and unload Moton for some picks they could use to replace the OG and LT spots. I just see them ruining value if they are moving in a different direction from the guys they currently have.  He can play LT, just not in this scheme and that should have a lot more value than just an OG you can find in the 3rd...with better people picking.

I've come to accept that Moton at LT is just never gonna happen. Fir the scheme we're running though, it'd make some sense.

What I think (hope) ultimately happens is he goes to left guard and we got a more WCO type tackle next year.

Michigan is a championship contender at the college level. San Francisco was a championship contender at the pro level.

That's all I care about. What Harbaugh does off the field is not my concern. I just want to win. He does that.

Nobody respects Frank if they did they would play better like they did for Wilks.

Look at the Raiders after they fired their GM and HC. Dudes out there showing emotion again. They respect Pierce.

We need to do the same. Get rid of Fitt/Frank we are the laughing stock of the NFL.

the comparison is just to Matt Rhule.  Nothing else.  I'm not a supporter of the move to hire Frank or any of these old dinosaurs.  It was a bad and wrong move.  Frank sucks.  Saying he doesn't suck as bad as Matt Rhule isn't a compliment of Frank.

How they can spend that capital on a qb and not see that his arm is subpar is mind blowing

Yes and that has been Floated on this site several times by a couple different people. One person went crying to the mods to delete the thread he started about it.

Polian is one of the most overrated blabber mouths in NFL history. Got lucky with Peyton Manning. On espn talking crazy and wanted to switch Lamar Jackson to a WR and would go on WFNZ criticizing Cam with some racial undertones.

If Tepper is listening to Polian man that would explain a lot of the current mess this team is.

At this point, would it surprise you? Anyone saying that about Lamar doesn’t need listened to. Even the people Tep goes to for advice is bad. Also us and the six or seven other teams who came out and said they will not pursue Lamar after he asked for a trade, look kind of silly right now. Regardless of it being a right move or not, coming outright and saying we don’t want an mvp…oof.

I don't doubt that that's the decision they ultimately agreed upon because that's who we drafted.

My question is how it got to that point.

So Reich and Stroud rumors are based only on McCown? I’m happy to read something else but Fitt and Reich linked to Stroud never crossed my path in all the discussions/articles/tweets. Young was all over the place and I do remember Richardson being the surprise contender but outside of McCown, it seemed like we eliminated Stroud.

At least you finally came around and admitted you were wrong. There’s no avoiding the smelly pile of poo that is David Tepper and this organization. Eventually you just have to acknowledge the truth.

Don't think I've ever said any different about Tepper.

I did say he was at least capable of learning, but Reich's comments about his level of involvement have me concerned again.
