Peppers Landing spots via ESPN Insider?

According to the NFL.com, there are 13 teams that run the 3-4. Nine of them are in the AFC. I don't see where the Falcons use that, but there are Web sites that say they could make the switch. I thought Pep was adamant about going to a 3-4 team that would use him the way HE wants to be used (as an outside linebacker, or at least part of the time there). And, I'm sure he wants to to go a contender, not a team that needs to rebuild. So that has to narrow the list somewhat, you think?

All I know is he cant go to NFC South. If he goes to Atlanta, again just like last season Atlanta jumped miles in the off-season while the Panthers remain the same.

I agree. If anyone should know how to deal with him, it's us! If our coaches don't know his tendencies by now, they shouldn't be coaches in this league!

I agree, Peppers is no Jared Allen but you throw him in atlanta's line there is a problem.

Any team that has two studs on there D-line will be a problem. Cant double team everyone. We can not over look how much Peppers gets doubled.

Abraham was getting manhandled all last year. I think he lost a step or 2. So it would still be 1 stud DE in ATL if pep was to go there.

Seriously, you're right. If he ends up in the NFC South, I'd let Gross and Otah face him one-on-one. From time to time, send a back over to chip him. But I wouldn't dedicate a double team to him all game. He's proven that is not necessary.

Even with the addition of Peppers (if there's anything substantive to the rumor), Atlanta doesn't have much of a run stuffing line. Controlling the tempo and not being forced into passing situations would still be the way to go.

If it holds true to typical form....Dante Rosario or Easy Mac Barnadeau will pancake him to the ground on 99.5% of the plays. Peppers will get his 2.5 tackles and that will be it. Maybe a sack.

Elite tackles he dominates..back-up journeyman or tight ends....does nothing the whole game.

Remember Huddle members another team that has Peppers will tie up 15-17 million in a 30 year old DE that will prevent them from getting other players. Atlanta still needs secondary help but if they sign Peppers there it goes. Our current cap problems become their problems. Abraham would be released salary dumps would happen...cats and dogs living together...mass chaos!

Shefter and Mortenson have really disappointed me this past year... They really have no clue about anything but speculate about everything.

I would hate for Pep to go anywhere in the NFCS but if anyone in the NFL can handle him it'd be Gross. He has lined up against him in practice his ENTIRE career.

but same with peppers. he has been lining up againt gross every day in practice also. so they both would know eachothers tendencies
