Not to mention Peppers completely shutting down the panthers offense twice a year each season pretty much making it very tough,(almost impossible with the panthers problem of not investing in a real QB) to get a division title.

We don't need to sign long term. He doesn't need to get taged and traded (although the best scenario, its unlikely another team could afford it after happened). The logical choice is to simply trade him and try and get some sort of fair compensation.

The front office is still to blame however. They should have done this a year ago. A player unhappy about where they are and what their playing with to me seems like a huge disadvantage for a team that works together to win.

If Peppers ends up in Atlanta playing for 15mil+ a season that wouldn't be such a bad thing. Sure he would probably kick our ass a couple of times a year but most of the rest of the time he would be vanishing in games and sucking up a huge amount of their payroll that could have been spent elsewhere.

I'm thinking the same. Everyone talks about peppers taking plays off, not being worth 1mil per game (I agree there), etc. If that is so, why worry where he goes? I think we can handle peppers as well as anybody.
