Bryce Young doesn't have a superprocessor, he is literally costing us games

What happened to him being a point guard that makes everyone around him better instead of a late-round project that needs all the help to look decent?

We drafted Brock Purdy with 1 number 1 overall picks a second round pick and dj Moore.

Have them swap teams and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference

Trevor Lawrence’s first NFL game had DJ Chark and Laviska Shenault as his guys along with Chris Manhertz and Marvin Jones.

He threw for 300+ yards, 3 TDs and 3 INTs. They threw downfield. He made flash plays that showed you he could be the guy and why he went first overall. Why is anyone comparing Bryce to him favorably?

Lawerence definitely looked slow to me, and somewhat awkward in first two seasons.  Lawrence is actually slower than Bryce, at least with his 40 time.  And he threw a lot of interceptions.  More than Bryce has at this point in their respective careers. That being said, only time will tell.

He is 6'6" and 220 though. And he threw for 300 and 3 tds his first game. Young is tiny and slow not a good combo in the NFL. How long before Young has a 3 td game? I dont see it happening anytime soon unfortunately.

Bryce hasnt exactly been airing it out.

He doesn't exactly have the arm to air it out.

We'll never be an exciting downfield passing attack with Bryce unless he decides to get on the juice.  You can still be successful in the NFL without that kind of attack, but you need to have well drawn up plays to get WRs open in space, the WRs capable of getting open in said space, an OL that can block for more than 3 seconds, and most importantly... a QB who is good enough to run that offense at a high level.

I'll admit, we don't have any of the plays, WRs, or OL aspects of that right now and it doesn't help Bryce

But Bryce also just isn't HIM either, he's never going to be an elite QB, his absolute ceiling is a Top 15-20 QB in the league, and that's if everything goes right from here on out for him.

Worst trade ever

this . people are just making blanket comparisons with bryce and lawerence/manning/aikman etc and not actually looking at the games they played in individually as rookies. They probably all showed a lot more flashes than whatever bryce has poo on the field with this season.
