Reality Check for The Golden Calf of Bristol jock sniffers:

The Golden Calf of Bristol will struggle worse than Jake Delhomme last season.

At best on our roster he is worse than Hunter Cantwell as a QB.

At FB he is 6th best after Hoover, Fiametta, Rosario, Barnidge and Sutton.

At Tight End he is 4th best behind Barnige, King and Rosario.

Punter he is 3rd best: Baker, Lloyd, Kasay.

He will run as fast as Make Kemoateau after rehab.

So in a draft without a 1st round pick does he provide us with help to imporove the Panthers.

NO. Jesus will say no as well.:banghead:

right now my fav QB we have a shot at getting is Jarrett Brown. He reminds me alot of Donovan McNabb, his size, overall awareness, and throw power.

You know I was initially mad at this but

I'd rather get Brown than The Golden Calf of Bristol.

Rather we'd get LeFevour though.

I'd take a shot on The Golden Calf of Bristol if he was available, but only after the WR situation has been adequately addressed. Of course, that might happen outside the draft (trade, FA), but it has to remain our priority. I don't think The Golden Calf of Bristol is any more of a risk than ANY other QB is. He's a smart kid with a good work ethic and is a proven winner. Would his deep religous beliefs gel in the huddle and locker room? They have for others (Reggie White certainly comes to mind, but of course, given HIS size, who was going to tell him to back off?). The big knock against The Golden Calf of Bristol is about his release. Heck, it's alot like Kerry Collins and a slew of others who have played or are playing. But I'm sure it's something that can be worked on if need be.
