This segment they are running on the Saints and f****** Katrina makes me want to puke. I can't wait for Peyton and the Colts to put the AINTS back where they belong. This time next week the Saints will be the Aints again thank God!! I've never rooted for a team other than then Panthers so much in my life. The only positive I can see to the Saints winning is that their idiot fans party so much that they burn the place to the ground.

i haven't been taking in any media coverage except for local stuff.

ESPN = local news station for New Orleans

I am so over this whole SB already. It's as if this is "The Clash of the Titans" when it really is only the Clash of 1 Titan, The Colts. I congratulate the Saints on their season. Pretty special but this game, IMO, is the Colts too lose. With Freeney out(possibly), this could be a good thing for the Colts. Their Defense knows now they must step and play even bigger

Geaux Colts!!!

I know im not a well liked poster around here but this whole Peppers thing has everyone going crazy. People on the Atlanta board are saying he isnt worth the money and that hes too old while other people are saying he is worth it and all that crap...

So the question is...What is your opinion on the guy? If he were to re-sign what would a "good" contract be for him (length and money). Would he be worth a long (4-5 years) contract with big money or is he just on the decline of his playing years?

Media tends to ruin everything. Of course ya got the media kissing Saint asses and supporting the "Who Dat" Nation. I pray the Saints lose and everything is back to normal again. We are going to be hearing it for awhile if they win this game, from the media and the Saints trolls that always crash this board.

    • i think i go in the opposite direction of most. my ideal retirement is living in some old downtown area in a flat above some shop or something.  life out in the country was just something i got real tired of. My kids actually miss some of living out there, which i understand. that was where they grew up for the most part. 40 acres with a 2.5 acre pond. it was beautiful, but also way too much (and too expensive) for me to keep up with.
    • FLASHBACK: I remember back when ESPN was just starting--he was their anchor.  They used to show stuff like Rodeo and field hockey--I remember laughing when he went to a commercial mocking a cycling competition in Utah (or something similar--I made that up) and I laughed.  I told my dad, "We may have us a new anchor when we get back from commercial."  When they came back from commercial, Berman was looking very serious and he said, "Any comments by me do not reflect the views of ESPN....The men and women who cycle are dedicated athletes and we are honored to shine light on their sport." (Paraphrasing).  Dad laughed hysterically. My first memory of him--and that was like 1980.
    • Might not have a team without them. Although that probably applies to the Panthers, too.
