This link on NFL.com said the probowl in 2010 will be held the week before the superbowl. WTF

Couldn't care less. But more people will watch now, players who are to be in the Super Bowl won't play so they won't get injured, and now there's something to watch that long boring week before the SB.

Why the hell would you travel to see that game? It's not even Football. It's like going to a baseball game were the pitchers can't throw anything but a BP fastball to major league hitters. Except that would be worst..... because there is no clock. :eek:

It would be alright to have it on the saturday b4 the super bowl. But no one in the superbowl would obviously play.

It's likely that both Super Bowl teams will have a decent number of Pro Bowlers on their roster, so that probably takes 5-10 players out of the game. There's no way any coach would let their players risk injury by playing in a meaningless game.

It would practically be cost free for me to go to it so why not? Be a good chance to enjoy the super bowl experience and meet some of the pro bowlers when they make appearances.

Haha I expect all the players in the SB will not go for some reason cause can you see if one of them got hurt or how tired he would be in the SB. Sorry Dumb Idea Goodell. I think they need to try to do something like the NBA dose in like challenges and not just a game. It might be better IMO.

Is the Pro Bowl a cash cow for the NFL and thats the only real reason they keep it on the schedule?
