Goto http://www.irs.gov and look for free file. If your income is below 57k Select the company. Most offer free tax prep and free e-file. Taxact is the one I used fed return was free and state was 14.95

ladypanther. if you don't have alot of captital gains/losses or have investment properties etc and you have tons of itemizing, irs or even turbo taxes FREE service is the way to go.

I'm finishing up mine tonight with HR Block. I pay 25 but that's for the aforementioned I go thru.

Yeah listen to pstall. We've used Turbo Tax for years, never had a single problem...now if you have five beach houses, a couple dozen IRA's and a lottery win that you'd put completely in 5000 dollar certificates of deposits, then you might need something more in depth. But if not....
