NFC South Next Season

If by consistent, you mean they are consistently getting gashed in the run game and torched in the passing game, then yes I agree completely.

No disrespect to the Saints, but they aren't as complete as Carolina. Their defense wasn't as good as the media tried to make it out to be. They couldn't stop the run to save their life at times. They are the same team as they were in 2008 and 2007, except they blitz more. No where near as complete as Carolina with a Matt Moore quarterbacking the team. But that's just me. As for Atlanta and Tampa Bay, awful defenses. Won't survive in a division where one team has the best running game in the league and another has the best passing game in the league.

1. Carolina Panthers (12-4)**

2. New Orleans Saints (10-6)*

3. Atlanta Falcons (8-8)

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-11)

10th in the league vs. the run doesn't necessarily lend any weight to your claim that the Falcons got "gashed" on the ground. (Carolina was 22nd) Our young corners, and injuries on the DL certainly caused issues against the pass... 28th in the league.(Carolina was 4th) If you think Atlanta is going to lose 8 games with a substantially easier schedule next season, you aren't the sharpest nail in the pouch. And, to say that the Saints aren't as "complete" a team as the Panthers three days after the Saints won the freaking Superbowl is like saying Neil Armstrong doesn't have anything on Buzz Lightyear when it comes to taking strolls on the moon! Give me a break!

Yes, because New Orleans isn't as complete as the Carolina Panthers. Give me one reason to believe otherwise. Oh wait, I'll do that for you.

"lol cuz dey won a super bowlz!!!!!111`````~~3390CRIPZ4LIFE!!!!"

No. Just because you won a Super Bowl doesn't make you as complete as another team that didn't. I'd go as far as to say New Orleans wasn't as complete as the Houston Texans (and I'll back it up with a strong argument too) even though Houston didn't win the Super Bowl. Coaching goes into that. However, anybody who watched Houston play would know they were a great team all-around minus covering the deep ball.

And stop looking at numbers. Any unbiased fan who actually saw Atlanta's run defense would know that it isn't that impressive, certainly not top ten against the run. So maybe you weren't "gashed" as I put it, but you were far from great. Also, your argument for why your pass defense was bad is laughable at best. You support it with "because of our young corners..".. Are you telling me your not going into 2010 with young corners? Carolina had a young secondary overall, and still was a much better pass defense. Let me guess, your reply to this will be..

"but wez got dunta robinson bitches"

Quite frankly, Dunta Robinson sucks. I'm glad to see Atlanta overpaid him and that he's still living off that 2007-mid 2008 hype.

I know it's hard to believe, but our pass rush sucked more than anything. Top it off with our corners that got torched most of the season and you have a garbage pass defense. I know that Dunta Robinson is not the answer alone. We need help on our DLine with getting to the passer. BUT! Dunta Robinson is an upgrade for our secondary from what we had.

That is sure to be a relief to Panther fans, I suspect. Just out of curiosity, do you watch football? Because I'd love to tell you all about the world of difference between last year's defense and the 3 years that preceded them, but I'm worried that I'd have to explain too much about the game, and I get the feeling you wouldn't be any more interested in that than I would.

We also get Brian Williams back from injury as well. Houston is GONE. Grimes and Owens another year of development as well. Robinson played bad last season after missing all of minicamp and training camp when the team installed a new defense and he was just his second year off his injury. They say it takes 3 years to fully get back to form after that injury. It's an uncapped year, who cares if we over paid THIS year. The contract pays him a poo-ton this year then reasonable numbers after that.

I already know the difference. They get more turnovers.

They were still in the bottom half in the league against the run and the pass (although I will admit, they had some injuries to it. I think Harper is overrated though but Greer is pretty damn good). Sorry but your defense isn't that good. Is it better than it used to be? Yeah, sure, but the team is still the same except the defense can actually get a forced fumble or interception from time to time. You need a better OLB and somebody opposite of Will Smith.

Strength of divisions from srongest to weakest will be:

1.) NFC East

2.) NFC North

3.) NFC South

4.) NFC West

Based on? Got to be your Opinion because there clearly isn't any fact in it.

Dallas is the only team going up and that is questionable.

NFC North best team was crushed by Carolina.

You have to give an edge to the division with the Super Bowl Champs.

So what is ur basis.

Packers and Vikings will contend, but yeah, Dallas is pretty much it for the East, and I don't think they have a coach & QB combo conducive for postseason success, even if they get to play the same team they swept a third time again next year. The Eagles might be nearing the end of an era, and the Giants seem to have an identity crisis. Shanahan may turn the Skins around, but I don't think it'll be in one offseason.

Panthers are solid, though I still have questions about Moore. Falcons have a shaky D, but they're still a threat. Saints have been an offensive force the last 4 years, and now have a defense that at least compliments it. And The Bucs... well, they still have the modified NFC South curse in their favor, for now.

I agree...1.) NFC South, 2.) NFC North(assuming Favre is back), 3.)NFC East, 4.) NFC West

The North should be better next year with Lions improving and Bears should improve too with Cutler having another season with that offense. Who knows, the Eagles could take a step forward if Kolb starts at QB. Of course, things will change with the draft too.
