5 TDs when behind vs 1 when ahead. Half of the sacks came in the 4th quarter where his rating is also at it's highest. The quarter splits are telling as are the down splits. Having 3rd down be your worst one is brutal.

Its also easy to see why. Lots of third and longs with a piss poor OL  is never going to be good.

The inability to stretch the field is all over these stats. If you can't effectively throw over 20 yards then you're basically left with a Teddy Bridgewater ceiling.

I hope the play caller change will help.

How can a play caller help if a QB really has an inability---your word---to throw deep? No magic or even masking is going to help that.

Man the goal posts really have moved over these last several months. Back then we heard how what CJ did to Georgia didn't matter because he had a loaded roster and so many elite WR's. Now all we hear about is Bryce Young did this in college Bryce did that in college. If random fans on the internet can see it obviously defensive coordinators see it in film too. You don't get shut out for 3 whole quarters like we did against Miami without people talking. We need to unequivocally look better on offense beginning with Bryce. If there were ever a time and perfect opportunity for it that would be tomorrow at home.

I remember when all the talk in the off-season was that Bryce was the favorite for ROY because he was coming into the best situation if all the highly drafted rookies.

Oh wee mayne.
