Would you trade Peppers for Kolb?

Total hypothetical situation...not rumor based. But since the football news geyser is tapping out, and the Panthers QB situation next year questionable at best, would you do this trade?

Say the Panthers decide to franchise Peppers. The Eagles call up the Panthers and say "Hey, we've got this young QB here. We believe our QB situation is solid with McNabb and Vick. We want to get an impact player on our defense for a Superbowl run this year. Would you make the trade?"

I see him as being about equal to Matt Moore honestly. He's proven just about as much as he has. Won a couple games for the team, put up some numbers, but just hasn't been tested long enough to be worth anything more than a chance.

Why would the Eagles trade Kolb anyways?? McNabb is in the last year of his contract, and if they deal Kolb, they're basically dealing their future. It doesn't make sense from both sides.

If this were prior to the Matt Moore enlightenment era, then I might consider it. As it stands, we'd do better to find a receiver or two to complement Smith.

We have Matt Moore already, guys. Why the hell is it so hard for everyone to take him seriously? Are we really going to overvalue every single quarterback in the league that was drafted just because they were drafted?

Kolb doesn't know any more than Moore does and he has LESS starting experience. Get the f**k over what round other qbs were drafted in already.
