Needed Poultry

I know most of you don't farm, but maybe you know a farmer that knows a farmer. What I need is about 50 Rhode Island Red chicks (dibs). My usual supplier (Shook Poultry) will not carry RIR this year. I prefer buying local and not going mail order. Does anyone know where I can get some chicks? I need them by March 1 if at all possible. I would like to know as soon as possible because if I buy mail order I will need to send in my order in a week or two. Thanks for any leads.

I have Golden Buff Orpingtons myself, and love them. Good layers, and setters.

Ladypanther, I have heard that there was a breeder in your area. I have found Case, but they just process. Do you have any idea where the poultry breeder would be? I can't find one on the internet, but a few people have mentioned one.
