Then you don't see my point at all, if you are still comparing it to business. I'm talking about when are men going to go back to men, and stop letting the almighty dollar be the factor maker of it all.

I know...to complicated to understand. Sorry.

Oh, real mature to neg rep me.

I wasn't being a dick. You are the one who is flying off the handle when no one agrees with you.

Peppers has "no preference" about his next team

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on January 31, 2010 11:23 AM ET

A year ago, Julius Peppers wanted out of Carolina and wanted to go to a 3-4 defense. Now he doesn't care where he goes, as long as he gets a new contract.

"I'm not going to say I want to play for any team or I prefer to play anywhere, because I really haven't thought about it," Peppers said to the Charlotte Observer at the Pro Bowl. "I'm just trying to get on a team right now," Peppers said. "I just want to get a contract."

At least he's honest. Seriously. Most players give lip service to the team they play for about "winning championships" but it comes down to dollars.

Asked if he wanted to stay in Carolina, Peppers said, "I don't have a preference."

We're not sure whether the Panthers can afford Peppers, but at least they will have the opportunity. The restricted rules that will be in place barring a collective bargaining agreement will make it nearly impossible for one of the final eight teams to consider Peppers.

:puke:

I think Jerry Richardson has had enough of Peppers.

I can't say that I blame him.

He all but prepared, and paid the guy, to be the next Sam Mills and the face of the franchise. Peppers isn't that kind of player. A person can't give what they have not got. We all forget and I believe it was prior to the 2008 season Peppers was offered a contract by the Panthers to be the highest NFL Defensive player and he said ,'ah, no thanks'.

..and to tag him in 2009, the trickle down effect was the Delhomme deal got done to make room for Julius.

There is only so much a franchise can do for one player.

I wish Peppers well; but, it's time to move on.

Think the Edwardses.

All the talk from the media is speculation...

Carl is strictly posturing and trying to get the discussions going...

Have I let you down in the past?

No, but everyone's wrong sometimes.;)

If Peppers agent has to make comments like this in the media to facilitate discussion, well, that says it all, doesn't it? I'm of the opinion that Peppers doesn't want to be here; if the Panthers haven't made an effort to speak to him yet, then I'd say they don't want him here either.
