Panthers linebacker Beason makes Pro Bowl after all

(By Charles Chandler, [email protected]) Panthers linebacker Jon Beason, who was upset by being snubbed by not being selected to the Pro Bowl, is headed to play in the game in Miami on Sunday after all.p/Beason has been named to replace San Francisco inside linebacker Patrick Willis, who's been sidelined this week by an injury.

I think he goes with a big chip on his shoulder. Beason is 100% football player and I dont think his instincts let him comprehend that the pro bowl is touch football.

That said I hope he does not hurt anyone.

don't know how i feel about that. I thought he wasn't going to go even if they wanted him to. unless they are forcing him (which i can understand them doing what with the colts and saints players an all) or he gets a poo ton of money for it, I think he should stay away and play next year like a man possessed for being snubbed in the first place.

Justice..... Beason is the Best MLB outside of Ray Lewis in the game. I don't care what Willis does. For some reason they seem to want to get on their knees on this guy. BEASTON was better last year and better this year.

I don't like this actually. I hope he'll still be just as motivated next year as he was when he wasn't part of the Pro-Bowl team. I guess it's good for him though, and he'll get a big fat paycheck.
