Battlefield Bad Company 2 Demo

That basically covers all the things I yell at people for while playing this game. Most of it is common sense though.

One rule I didn't see in there that I am very cognizant of in the game (It's kind of a combination of "Know your class role" and "Choose where you spawn carefully"):

If I'm a Recon class, my job is to stay hidden, spot enemies, kill when it's opportune, and best yet, sneak into an enemy base and serve as a respawn point right in the heart of the fighting.

If you spawn on me, and then immediately open up with your machine gun, you have not only given away my position, and killed both of us, but now we have to spawn all the way back at the base, and as a result are out of action for much longer.

Come one now. We snipers go to a lot of trouble to find our perfect vantage. Don't give us away because you think if you use half a belt of ammo you can shoot the gunner out of a moving ATV 200 yards away.

I agree with what you said about giving away your position. I hate when people do that to me. But remember to use sensors and the C4.

I like to place C4 on the roads or where I know where vehicles travel and then take up a spot so I can see whats coming. Time it right and KABLOOIE!

Well after reading this page http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Bad-Company-2-Will-Never-Go-Prone-22602.html , it's pretty clear that laying down/crawling is not an option in this game. That's rather retarded for a game like this. Big letdown there.

However, I will say that it is a better game than the first one, which I really didn't like. The way they handled health regeneration is a lot better this time. No more punching yourself in the chest with a syringe every time you take some fire. That's a good thing. Also the insane bounciness while running/walking is toned down quite a bit. Another good thing.

Still pissed about not being able to lie down, but I suppose I'll get over that in a while...but really it is retarded to not be able to go prone when there is no cover or for whatever reason.

For 360 users who've played online... Is My headset broke, or are people not communicating at all on online games??

OH, be still my heart! You mean I won't have to listen to annoying 13-year-old "goo goo gaa gaa" cooing, or the "I spent $19.99 on this piece of crap headset so listen to the amazingly poor garbled sound quality" guy, or the idiot constantly touching his mic making that annoying friction sound, or the gung ho dweed who gives out commands like he's Patton then shrieks like a girl when he dies?

That's it; I'm burning MW2 as soon as I get this game.

They mentioned the inability to go prone in the video; I imagine that does get a bit annoying at first.

So far would you say it's worth buying?
