Cherica's mother is a good woman, a very good woman. Being able to forgive both Watkins and Carruth, she's also a very strong woman.

I was pretty young when this whole thing went down, so I'm really just now trying to learn the whole story. Carruth is a disgusting human being, but that Watkins was/is one cold man. Glad Watkins found some peace while he's in prison.

because Rae allegedly only hired someone to kill her, he didn't pull the trigger. i think that means less time served. also he had a good lawyer and i think guys like muhsin muhammad defended carruth's character on the stand iirc.
